Heidi, she said WE'RE not open yet.. implying that she works there.

It's the oldest profession and will always be around. At least legal and regulated there is protection for the girls.

Nola's Judy is hanging in there and even drank a cup of water. Huge huge hugs to Nola, both Judys and Hawkmoon...

Mamacita, hope you are continuing to improve and have your tree up!

Ours has made it to the house, but that's all so far. That's kind of a big deal as it was out in the pantec so I guess I shouldn't say 'that's all'.

My tree is now sitting outside in the rain on my 16 ft trailer. The rain isn't supposed to end for several more days, so I'll bring it in once it dries off.

Tomorrow I have a Lions Christmas party. I still have to wrap the gift I'm taking..... nothing expensive, it's a faux fur throw, lynx pattern. Warm and pretty.

Off to bed now. I'm getting sleepy.

Mama, hope you are improving.
Busy weekend cutting down trees, now all I have to do is take it all to the tip.
Work is still good and busy.
Looking after Teresa's pets this week as well while her housesitter is away.
Cousin has put up the Christmas tree. BIL is coming over next weekend as he will not be here for Christmas, hopefully will get to see my wonderful step daughter and her kids on the Sunday , her and hubby have split up if he comes will have to hold myself back from giving him a fair kick up where the sun don't shine. Cous is working late shift Christmas day so tossing up if I should go see my friends in Noosa.
Love and Hugs to you all.

Suzy, I agree about br0thels. Not only does it make it safer for the girls, it also gets them to pay taxes. After all, they are providing a service. Br0thels will always be around, whether they're legal or not.

Hi All.

Don't panic because you see me logged in, as nothing has happened yet.

I just wanted to say that I have had such support from you guys and I wish that Judy and Hawksmoon knows that I am thinking of them also. Truly, hope the biopsy is benign. Many, many hugs as you go through this stressful time.

Morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.

Big hugs to all who need them.

Have to get ready for the boys birthday party today. Their birthdays are three weeks apart so they decided to have one party. They are having some friends over and taking over the street. Basketball, football, etc. will be the activities of the day. I am setting up a table with chicken wings, chips and other junk and a cooler of drinks. They can make all the noise they want. Mitchell's b-day isn't until Thursday, same as Suzy

I have been home about an hour now. Decided to sit up and have a drink after work. Talked to Greg for awhile about events while he was away. It is nice to have him home again to catch up.

It is such a relief to have Judy in care, where I can see her at any time by popping in to her room and even helping with her care when I knock off.
She had some break through pain today, and has had extra morphine for that. It is amazing, how one day they are so low and then can rally again. When Judy had some water, I thought she can't be that bad, but the pain starts again.
My youngest brother visits her often but today after seeing her for a few minutes he disappeared.
I found him with tears streaming down his face.

Wish I didn't have to tell you some of the details of what is happening, but it is a relief to me to talk about it and I know you would rather me talk here than bottle it up.

Judy is hanging in there. I have told her to go to sleep which probably stems from the pain I feel, while watching her struggle.

I feel better now, and tomorrow will try to comfort my brother who did the same for me last Tuesday when I was a mess.
Love you all heaps!!!

1.30am! Scott just got off the machine. Normally he would have gone on overnight but I think he was feeling the need for a clean out so he went on when we got back from a mate's 60th lunch.

You have come to the right place Nola, many of us have watched a loved one fade. I told my father the same thing, and I told Mum that we would all be fine because of the strength she gave us. They both left in peace soon after.

Nola, know that even if we haven't been on here and posted for a while we still think about you and Judy. As Gail said we all seem to know what you are going through from experience. Take care of yourself (and your family) whilst you are taking care of Judy.
Hope we get some good news soon from Hawkmoon about our other Judy.

Hawkmoon did say it would be a few days before they got the biopsy results. I know we're all on pins and needles, but them's the breaks.

Nola....you are an amazing woman. You have so much strength and love to share with Judy, the rest of your family and all of your friends here, too.
I hope Judy's passing is peaceful and gentle, when it comes, and she suffers no more pain. She's had too much already.

Morning all,
Nola - thanks for popping in. We are all here for you, and you and Judy are in our thoughts. I'm glad you and your brother have been able to comfort one another, that's the lovely thing about having a good family. I'm also glad that Greg is home to be there for you.
Judy and Hawkmoon - I hope you get the results as soon as possible and that they are good!
Big gentle hugs all round as usual.

Beastie boys had a great day today. The joint b-day party was a success, plenty of leftovers. One of my neighbors was trying out a drink recipe he wanted for Christmas day. His kids were here also. He brought over a big pitcher of cranberry martinis. He went home slightly drunk and I am in a good mood. His wife and I were laughing at him, he will probably be embarressed tomorrow. She went home and I asked Mitchell to walk him home. Mitchell asked me if he was drunk. We now have an invitation for Christmas day. I usually don't drink a lot but I did not have to drive. I am not drunk, but I probably could have had one less. At least I am acting normal.

Heidi, glad you had a good time at the Lion's party.

My cousin Marlane is having surgery tomorrow. She is confident in her surgeon and in her outcome. Please keep your fingers crossed for a good outcome. I know pancreatic cancer does not have a good survival rate, but she and all the family (and her doctor) are optimistic.

Tami, that's always the way with alcohol. If we knew what we'd feel like after the last one, we'd stop the one before! It sounds like a fun party!!

Good afternoon friends.
Tami ... thank you for the much needed laugh.
Sorry to hear about Marlane... it is good to be hopeful. The alternative can be self fulfilling...
Like everyone else... Judy & Judy are on my mind.
Nola your words to me were such a comfort when my brother was dying from MND... few people understood just how horrible a way to go that was. I know escaping in here will be a big comfort. Just as we have all discovered over the years.

Late greetings to everyone!

I like your TOPP quote, Suzy! I also like the Peterson brothers youtube.

Cyn, Gail, Mama, Heidi, Suzy, Broni I join you in positive thoughts for Judy and Nola and Judy and Hawkmoon. Mama, thank you for stating so well what is on all of our minds! {{{{{HUGS}}}}} and for both Judys and their families!

Suzy, thank for sharing your news about Nola's Judy!

Hawkmoon, thanks for updating us on your Judy!

Broni, it seems like you are VERY busy. I'm so glad you're still enjoying your new job!

No Christmas tree here yet, no presents purchased, no letters written and no cards sent. However, we're both on the mend, though still requiring lots of sleep. Our colds (or whatever) have had quite an impact. The minute I feel completely better, I need to get my flu shot. Luckily, hubby was able to get his when he was in for an annual appointment.

Suzy, Theresa and Gail, I tend to agree with you on the subject of br0th3l5, and for the same reasons.

Nola, we are thinking of you and your family, as well as of Judy! It doesn't get easier, but I'm so glad Judy is in care where you can pop in to see her and offer some assistance! Feel free to pop in to vent whenever necessary! Our shoulders are strong and our support for each other is limitless. {{{HUGS}}} When her time comes, may she go softly and peacefully, knowing that she has your love and support.

Tami, I hope your Beasties enjoy their shared birthday party! You certainly have your hands full with Hannukah and 2 birthdays! Happy Hannukah to you and your family, including Bobbi and Bernie! Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to Dylan and Mitchell!

Heidi, I'm glad the Lions party was a success! Hooray for happy tummies!

Tami, I'll keep your cousin Marlane in my thoughts and prayers and fingers crossed for a successful outcome for her surgery!

Broni, I hope your receive good news from your friend who lives near the fires!

It is getting late, and I need to get some sleep. Feel free to share any or all of the {{{{{{{{ H U G S }}}}}}}} with those you love! May tomorrow bring better news for all!
