What fun it is to see new names on the SA3 pages! Of course, we all "know" each other from the Easy pages, but glad to see some of you have found us at SA3. I just didn't know this was the dark, hidden recesses of the site. Those of us who come here frequently know it's a warm, caring, accessible portion of the site. EVERYONE! Enjoy some flowers and a little something to nibble on as we wait for the rest of the site either to come back to life or have everyone find us here!

Sounds like a wonderful experience for the kids Kathy. We have baby quails in a aviary out the back at the moment, they look like the little fluffy chickens on easter eggs!

Eve: In the archives (under normal conditions), the photos have always been slightly out of sync, by a day or two, with the comments. I think that began when the server was changed the last time, maybe a year ago. They haven't been right since.

I just got an e-mail from Angie/Wisconsin. She wants to know how to get on this page. I told her I had it book marked and that's how I got on. Is there any other way? She's pretty desperate!

Kathy: Just tell her to paste

ht tp://sudoku.com.au/QXD15-2-1992-224-Sudokuaholics-Anonymous-.aspx

That's the address of this page. And remind her to take out the space between ht and tp at the beginning.

Or just copy this whole message and send it to her.

Thanks, Ian! I sent her the info. I also had the user log in page book marked and was able to access that this morning. The log in wasn't working, but I was able to get to the Forum and from there to here.

As a member or a supporting member, you can access the forum and other pages from your personal page. If you bookmark your personal page, you should be set. Re: the site problems, I'm sure Gath is working his a-s off to get everything back to normal. If you can access the Internet and other sites, but you can't get the Sudoku site, it has NOTHING to do with you or your computer. It is a server problem or an Internet provider problem on Gath's end. It will get resolved. Just be patient whenever it happens.

Just put my favorite left over casserole recipe in the oven. Swiss Turkey Ham Bake. I got it from one of my aunts, years ago. It is great when you have left over ham & left over turkey. I had froze the left overs and defrosted them this morning to make this casserole (now that I haven't had either Ham & Turkey for over 10 days).

Eve do you have enough room at the table for another? I haven't had turkey or ham for ages, not since Christmas 2006 (we went to friends this last Christmas and they had pork). It is going to be hot and thundery here today, first rumble and the power goes off!

Of course, you don't have to be a member or a supporting member to bookmark someone's personal page (or a forum page, or the chatroom) and use it to access the site later.

Gday all who may pass this way. Seems like everything is status quo at the mo. Just a quick drop in before my hubby and I go off to spend the night away to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Of course, there is always STUFF to do before I can leave, like about a dozen loads of wash (teenage girls home on holidays!).
Hopefully everything will be restored when I get back online tomorrow.

Since the pages are still down, and I'm unable to post my question there, I have posted a question in the Open Forum Discussions and Debate page. I would like to hear/read others point of view on this.
Cheers

Thanks Angie. I found it, and made a contribtion to the discussion for what it is worth.
Did anyone notice that one or two days before the 'crash' there were two strange successive messages on easy chat, posted by two people I have never encountered before that made odd reading about someone (no name given?) being 'amateur'. They seemed to be assessing this site in some nefarious and derogatory way. Am I being paranoid or hypersensitive in thinking those people might be related to the crash? You may be able to check out those messages in the archives.
