Dusting can wait, Rolanda. As I say to my grandies, you can draw pictures in the dust or write words, just don't put the date on it!

MizT, this grandie is a picky eater, except when it comes to dessert. The younger grandie LOVES vegetables and her idea of a snack is a bowl of broccoli or mixed vegetables!
Heidi, glad the water situation seems fixed - hope it lasts a long time.
It's 4:30 AM and I just had my first cup of coffee. I guess I took the cup before the coffee had finished dripping through and it was STRONG. I'm wide awake.

Funny Rolanda, I read 'that' and had to go back to check what you meant! d2 has been home 5 minutes and we've already had an 'attitude' argument - don't you hate that snarly the world sucks face???

Yay, one caravan gone - so a new one to come!

Heidi, glad the water situation is all sorted - and hope it stays that way for a long time! Just scanned back - snap Theresa!

Theresa, I'm going to have a busy day tomorrow doing all the stuff I didn't do because the kiddies were away and hubby and I were celebrating our 20th. Dust might be at the bottom of that list though!

Warning: Small town anecdote... The names have been changed to protect the innocent...

Hubby and I were in town over the weekend and saw a poster on a pole. It showed some pictures of someone I know, a local business logo, and the logo for a fund raising event that is coming up soon. It was advertising a kissing booth at the event - no gender preferences, senior discounts, etc. I didn't think the guy would be terribly happy about it as he is pretty senior in a couple of organisations - and it was obviously a joke. I told a mutual friend who checked fb and saw references to it so thought he must be 'in the know' and okay with the joke. I thought that he must have a really good sense of humour! Turns out he didn't know, and didn't think it was funny at all - and he only found out about it because I told our mutual friend! He hit the roof! He is going to have to apologise to all the people he accused who were innocent....

Suzy, I remember when my daughter was a teenager with an attitude. She seemed to be mad at her father and I all the time. There were times after she left for school in the mornings I would just sit down and cry. Then I would start crying again around 3:00 PM because I knew she would soon be home and it would all start again. Thank God they grow out of that stage!

Hi everyone.
Yes Suzy, did not do much today.
It was very warm here and we went to the beach.
Then when we came home we cooked a chicken in the outdoor wood stove. !!!! This was hubby's idea.
Finished off helping gf with the move to her new rental place here. That was yesterday and when I got home the young man who I helped in the accident had left a small flower arrangement for me out on my front porch. I have put a pic in my album of it and a couple of others.
Tomorrow morning I am going to get my hair coloured. I wanted it purple once before but it did not turn out how I wanted it.
I wanted it really purple, very vibrant.
I found a picture and my hairdresser will attempt this tomorrow. Hehehee.
I may post a pic, or I may not.
Did someone mention teenagers with attitude?
I have one of them here. Thank heavens I only had one child. I often say I do not know how my mother managed with six of us~!
Have a good night everyone.

Theresa, you cracked me up with 'just don't put the date on it'
Zusy, I remember when I had "attitude" (you could never talk to me in the morning) but never grew out of it!
Viv, so glad to see some of the young still have respect for others.
June, sleep well you deserve it.
Dag, hope you are feeling better.

I'd better get busy outside. The radar shows that the rain is due to hit in about an hour, and settle in for a few days. There is a small chance of thunder boomers.

Heidi, get the tranquilizers ready! Hope the t storms come through day time, so dogs do not pile on you in your sleep.

we have had rain since last night, showers, no thunder. I read the forecast, and they mention SNOW tonight and tomorrow. Gee, Mother Nature, go check the calender, it is officially spring!

VIV, you must post a photo of purple hair!

June, hope you are more rested come morning.

Theresa, why is it, most picky eaters still like their sweets?? Now, that is serious attitude, making Mom cry twice a day!

Must do a thing or two around here, catch you all later.

The rain now looks about a half hour away. The front is moving slower than I thought. They predict only isolated thunderstorms, and the radar shows that they should go west of us.
Our lows are only going down to 39℉ / 3.9℃, so no chance of snow here. It IS funny that they're predicting snow so much further south.

Heidi, hope for your sake and the sake of your dogs that the thunderstorms stay away from you. We have very light snow coming down, but it's not accumulating. As MizT says, it's spring. Enough of the white stuff!!!

It's raining now, but that's all.

IH story....
I recently sold my small tractor to IH's cousin, who needed one that size. IH asked him for permission to use it, and his cousin foolishly said yes. I just caught IH driving it with the parking brake on. Since he's used the tractor before, I now know who's responsible for damaging the transmission on it in the past. I DID let IH's cousin know about it.

Morning all!
Theresa, I haven't cried at 3pm yet, but I feel my face tightening up. I practice my fake smile hoping that if I act cheerful it will become contagious. It sometimes works for a little while. d1 took a photo of your broomstick post to share with her friends..

Viv, how nice of that youngun. I'm going to check out the photo once I've posted this. d1 wants red tips. Not red like you would normally see in hair, but fire engine red. Just the ends of her hair though. Once our budget readjusts from our extravagant weekend I'll look into it for her...

MizT, I'm waiting for an empty house to do ffuts here. Could be a while as it looks like the ds missed the bus. That picky eater thing - my 'I want to be a vegetarian' daughter will eat about 5 vegetables, 3 fruits, and sugar!!

Broni, hope you are having a great day!

Heidi, glad it wasn't your tractor this time.

June, I look forward to catching up with you when you are a little rested. Your hubby is going to be exhausted as he is not long home and now he's off again!

Does anyone know where I left my glasses????

Good Morning my friends, hope you are well.
Zusy, I spend half my life looking for my glasses!
I hope to have a quiet day today, Teresa and her little dog Maggie have been staying here since last Thursday as she is moving to Towoomba but still has her job here. Bella is loving the doggie company, but it has been a madhouse all weekend.

In the fridge?

Hi everyone, have really only glanced at posts, but please know you are all in my thoughts.

Weekend wasn't the best, spent most of yesterday in bed. Headache now at bay, but it went hand in hand with nausea yesterday after a fitful night.

Hubby was wonderful and (allowed to say this cos I didn't do it) he did several baskets of wash, including the girl's work and school uniforms.
Thanks again honey ♥

Morning everyone.

I discovered this morning, 4.00am to be exact, that the dusting did get done yesterday.
Why at 4.00am ? that is when the husband's alarm went off!!
I said why 4.00am, and he said no it's 5.00am, and I said, you'd better go and check!
Check he did, and came back and said sorry it is 4.00am, I don't know how my clock was an hour in front.
That is when I asked 'did you do the dusting yesterday' and he said yes. Well, I said, you must have knocked the time button or something.
So he reset his clock and alarm, and then back to snoozeland, tossing and turning, till 5.00am.

I is tireder !!

I'm back. Another busy weekend in my neck of the woods.
Rolanda, I had a night like yours. I woke hubby and said I thought the alarm went off ages ago. He checked and it was 12:45 (alarm set for 2:30am). "Sorry, go back to sleep" I said - I hope he did. I think the alarm on his watch is going off at midnight and that was what I thought was the alarm clock. I'm sure I'll hear today.

"Good Health" to all who need it.

I would like a sunny day or two. I don't think we've had much sun since late January. I know it's our wet season but I find the overcast skies just miserable.

Good maEn everyone! I read some, but don't remember much!
Gail: Best wishes for a speedy recovery (I think it was your sister or SIL, sorry, can't remember)
We've had VERY nice weather since the 8 inches of snow last week (which melted in a day or so). It was actually nice enough to open the windows during the day.
My aunt Sandra is getting better, but still whining that I didn't drop everything to see her). Like TTT had said, I'm the furthest (farthest??) away from her in the family. Even my Uncle Tony's family is closer (they are in Florida & New York). Sorry, had to vent about that, even my mom understands why it would take moving mountains here to do it!

Victoria: I feel the sam way about the sky right before it rains or snows, it gets SO dark & gloomy!! Before we had the winter snows, there was a terrific rainstorm ( about August/September) and there was a BEAUTIFUL rainbow!! Made it worth it!!!

HI SUZANNE, I am here now, have NO idea how long ago you were here though.

Gail, glad the head is better, enjoy your massage.

Rolanda, nice to know the house was dusted, but think I could have waited till later to find out hehehe. I was reading our local advertisement paper, and saw an ad for " I will do your ironing". Thought of you.

Lots more services advertised than usual, house cleaning, babysitting over night ( after working a day job?) anything to make a few extra $$ in this economy. Interesting one, come have your next party at my pool and outdoor kitchen!! Renting out your pool and patio ??? Gotta keep up those house payments somehow, sad, sad.

Just finished a book I had NOT read before, did noit like how it ended, angry at the author, a real downer of an ending. NOT fun. I must invent a happier ending for that book.

Later friends, hubby calls,
