Well tomorrow morning sometime I am expecting my $3,059 worth of Avon that I ordered to be arriving.
That will keep me away from the computer for the rest of the week by the time I pack it all up and then start deliveries on Thursday.
Hugs to all who need them.

Viv what a great order that was, it would take me ages to sort that amount of stuff out, you must have a great system in place to deal with it. Hope your next order is even better (if only for your commission)

Checking in this morning before our launch to the cancer center. the thunder storms have come and gone over night, yeah, no driving in the rain. I am not sure if AL will want to drive or not, he has not but one short local trip since a couple of minor surgical procedures 10 days ago.
I need to get my lost of questions finalized, so much about this to learn. Then we are out of here. I asm told just the infusion of drugs, and they are giving him a boat load, will take 3 hours, plus the blood work and seeing the doctor. It will be a long day. I also have an appointment at one of the local churches, for food assistance. All the " minor" medications and prescriptions and dressings have hit the budget, plus all the going requires more gasoline.
Thanks to all for the hugs and love sent, I do appreciate it. Will check by tonight, I hope. Please pray or wish for AL to have no nausea, and for this chemo to shrink his tumor.
Hugs to all. I like giving hugs, I get one for every one I give

I had a bit of a nap this morning and now the day seems to have gotten away from me. Must remember to go and vote after supper.
My SIL called me a little earlier. She has been a widow for over 20 years and she has been seeing a gentleman friend for almost 2 years now ... they are getting married! I couldn't be happier for them. She told me, however, that my MIL did not seem impressed when told. I love my MIL dearly, but some of her attitudes are unexplainable. She doesn't understand why my SIL would need anyone else in her life when she has them!!!! I say finally my SIL is getting a life of her own and she deserves it.
Thinking of MizT. BTW, the last out of the home job I had, they used to call me MizT. Coincidence? I think not.

G'Day, G'Day! (thinking of the video of Ally singing it) Hi, Everyone!
Hi, V Viv, Brenda, Theresa, Tami, vdV, Broni, CynB, MizTricia, Gail, Heidi, and Suzanne!
It's about 2:30 p.m. I'm here now before heading off for a meeting, followed by another meeting. The round trip travel for the first one will take anywhere from 2-3 hours. We need to leave it early in order to arrive at the second one late. The second one will probably last until at least 9:30, so I'm not sure if I'll get here this evening.
Hi, V Viv! You have a smart young man to empty non-essential material from his wallet before leaving for his road trip to the concert! I hope we didn't drive you batty with our concern! I know I'm relieved! It's nice that they gave him a number in case he is pulled over before his wallet reaches him!
V Viv, congratulations to John for being smoke-free for five weeks! I hope he can keep it up. Good luck to him with his new diabetes medicine! I hope it improves his life! Enjoy those who join you for lunch or a cup of coffee. It may be the only bright spot in their day.
Viv, is that your largest Avon order? Good for you! You obviously have found something you enjoy and do well!
Brenda, you're right! I hadn't thought what it would be like sorting out an Avon order of that size! Reminds me of when I used to do the Current card orders for teachers at my school! The orders weren't as large - or as often - but having to check everything in and make sure nothing was missing, checking for back-orders, and sorting was quite a job! Luckily, the delivery was easy, as it was just the 40 or so faculty members at my school.
Tami, are you a tea drinker? You could make yourself a cup of soothing tea to have at school. I hope your day goes well!
Theresa, it makes perfect sense not to introduce your D to this wonderful site! It's important to have somewhere to vent, and we all know you love your D dearly!
vdV, we always enjoy your fly-bys! I'm a bit concerned, though, about you having your wings crossed!
Broni, thanks for mentioning Steve's kids. I thought the same thing - they're beautiful and appear to be very well-mannered. It appears that you have a great family, Steve!
CynB, I hope your busy has been a good kind of busy! We missed you!
MIzT, I'm glad the rainy weather moved through before you had to get up and head out for the day's errands. It sounds like you both have a long day ahead of you. Does Al enjoy reading or listening to music? He may want to have something with him - or they may have a television. Perhaps he can bring a movie along to watch during each treatment. Here's hoping he'll be nausea-free and the chemo will target the unwanted cells! All the best to both of you! It's a trying time, but we know you will both get through it! {{{{{HUGS}}}}} and prayers and positive Sudoku vibes!
Theresa, what wonderful news for you SIL and her new special friend! Have they set a date? Wishing them all the be

Suzanne, I hope the vet visit went well for Tigger! BTW, I think our lower night-time temperatures have approached the middle 30's, but so for no dustings of the S word. Knock on wood!
I need to do some ffuts before heading out! Positive vibes, prayers and {{{{HUGS}}}} to everyone!

I'm having a restful day. Just napping, with regular dashes to the little girls room (I won't go into details).I hope the intestinal bug lets up in time for the Lion's Club meeting. At least this one is close enough to Hallowe'en that nobody will think twice if I wear my buckskin regalia dress with the 3 ft. long fringes and beads.

Hi Julie, you have such a great way with words, and your updates are very much appreciated.
Greg and his brother are riding their bikes down to Taree to visit their father today. It will take them a few days as they call in to a few rellies on the way.FIL had a turn a few months ago but has recovered nicely. It prompted Greg to visit as FIL is 82 yrs and you just never know how long you will have them.
I will have the place all to myself for about 2 weeks which is about my limit of enjoyment. After that I become lonely for Greg.

Morning all,
Hugs MizT!! Those greeting cards that say 'thinking of you' are right on the money...
Viv, what an amazing Avon order! You must give good service!! I ordered $12 worth of stuff this month. The Christmas catalogue looked good but I skimmed past most of the stuff because it isn't in the budget.
Theresa, congratulations to your SIL!! MIL sounds a little selfish..
Julie, wood working meetings???
Nola, safe riding for Greg and bro and wonderful peace for you!

I am here without reading. We are just back, what a long day, left this morning at 7:30, home by 4:30. He was hooked to IV's from 9 till 3, they had said 2-3 hours but turned out to be 6! He slept most of the time, nice recliner. I was out in waiting room in typical waiting room torture chairs.
We are so fortunate, the social worked had arranged for Al to receive not only his chemo drugs for infusion, but also a couple of pills for nausea (that are over $100 each pill) through a patient assistance program. I am so thankful for that.
Al did fine, no problems so far, hope it stays that way.
I am going to my lazy boy chair and be lazy for a while, Luckily I have dinner cooked already. Hugs to all and see you later.

MizT, if I lived close enough I would be happy to bring dinner over for you. I will be keeping you and Al in my thoughts. Glad to hear today went well.
Suzanne, I am laughing my A** off. If you want to come here you better check with Mitchell. He is not as willing to give up his room and as he is now taller than I am, I will let you fight with him
Steve, glad you could fly by. You should put in a appearance more often.
Julie, I am not really a tea drinker, only when I am sick. I did take tea with me today and heated water in the microwave. It was ok. I will probably take more tomorrow.
Don't remember much else of what I have read. I will try to come back later.

Tigger update: He is at the vet's overnight. It WAS an abcessed tooth. The abcess broke as I was holding him in the exam room (EEEWWWWW). They will do bloodwork (to make sure they give him the proper sedative)and he should be fine.
Funny moment in the car: He was fine getting in the cat carrier, but as soon as he got in the car he HOWLED!!!! Good thing the vet's office is only a mile or so away!

Back from the Lion's Club meeting. We got a lot of info on that gang that robbed cousin Don's place... a list of names, and jail records, as well as some suggestions on how to get stuff back. The state police still haven't done a thing.

Suzanne, you might want to reconsider you comment about spanking Mitchell. I don't even spank him anymore and you he may try to hit back. The last time I swatted him, he raised his hand and then thought twice.
Heidi, I would also like to see a picture of you in that dress. I get the impression that the police don't do much in your area. Maybe they were in on the robbery.
