Gekko All. Laura decided she wanted to spend another night so a bit busy here. Drove to Wollongong yesterday for lunch. (over an hour away)Laura and Great Grandma get along well.

Had another nap this afternoon... IH woke me up asking about supper. We decided to go out instead of me doing the cooking. My tummy is now full.

That is a heartbreaking story, Suzy, but nice as well. She did survive the accident, and he proved himself a great human being, and a real man. He's got talent as well, and I hope he goes far.

Greetings all, another day down the drain. this crud is still hanging on, not wure what it is, but about to give it the second round of antibiotics. If this doesn't work, I am not sure what is next.

BIL Roger hopes to bring his camper down this weekend, leave it parked here, to act as a guest bedroom. Just in case he is needed to help with AL as the treatment continues. We are told the last 2 weeks can be harder, he could lose aility to swallow, and be very tired. Hope for the best, but making plans just in case. I need to make something easy for dinner to feed us all, I am thinking crock pot meal. I do not have energy to stand and cook. thi is getting old.

Back to my recliner, it is a full time job just holding that recliner down. Hugs to all, with extras.

I have just enrolled Alie in a hip hop class and when we got home she was invited to join a performance class for free - with a competing dance school! Shhhh. Don't tell the other school. It's against the rules to be in 2 dance schools at the same time...

Ebob was told at work that they are having a competition for most improved productivity. They measure the check out chicks clearance rates. Apparently Ebob doesn't have a chance as her clearance rate is already in the 70s and the average is in the 40s..

So they are only rewarding the underachievers who try a little? And the ones who have been giving it their all from the start don't get rewarded? What is wrong with that picture?

Good news, Wagdy answered my post on his page. So he still has internet access and is safe, though very concerned about his country.

Nola, very very early drop in from you this morning. I hope you aren't too tired.

Ebob's boss suggested she work slowly on her next shift and then go back to her usual speed on the one after, but Ebob said naaa.

I remember one time she cashed into her register and served her first customer within one minute. Another time she did that and another one of her supervisors stopped her and double checked her counting. Not used to seeing it I guess.

Rolanda has posted on fb that the wind has picked up and it's raining heavily. I sent a text to Susan and she says it is slightly windy up her way.

Thinking of the both, though the news has said both cyclones are losing steam. The super big cat 5 further out from north queensland is a bit scary.

Trying a new recipe using some of our squashes that went a bit feral - we've stuffed them with all kinds of ... stuff, now we're baking them. Hope they're edible, or we'll go hungry tonight ...

it twas just a wee storm.. 1/2 hour or so of heavy rain, little bit of wind, some thunder and lightening.
The cyclone is weakening as it is travelling down the coast, she is still North of Perth out to sea.
As a rule Cyclones usually do not travel this far south!! The last one 'Alby' was over 30 years ago (1978), she was much stronger and did some damage and 5 lives were lost.
Perth is still in for some windy wet weather over the next 24/48 hours so I believe.
