Good Morning Tami, will join you in a cup. Poss made it to Sydney and has seen his mum, was going to freshen up and go back, just waiting to hear from him.

Best wishes going out for Possum's speedy recovery and for his mom. It is always nice to have company for coffee. We just need to be quiet. Everyone else is sleeping shhhhh.

Does Dana have a short term memory problem, besides dyslexia? Has the ungrateful wretch forgotten the "best mother in the world"? Has she forgotten the birthday party that disrupted your life for days? Has she forgotten the ticket not only for her, but for a friend as well? Has she forgotten the lessons learned while living on her own? Has she forgotten to handle you with care because of your stroke? I'm not impressed with her right now. That's pretty callous and selfish, even for a teenager.

Hang in there Suzy. Life with teenages is sent to try us. (and generally when a woman's hormones are changing as well)
I had great shots of the eagle at 2am here (about 8-9 am there)
We won the bowls on Tuesday, and another big game tomorrow so I had better get some sleep.
Thinking of you all.{{{HUGS}}}

Suzy I would say send Dana over here and she would find out quickly what a wonderful mother you are. Is Don still wearing rose tinted glasses or is he seeing how her behaviour has reverted back to before she left?
Hope Possums mum is doing ok now Broni.
Well done June on your bowls win, good luck for the same result in your next game.
Heidi sorry to hear you had lost that calf you struggled to bring into the world, hope it's mother is going to recover. Hope your foot isn't broken but knowing you you will have done a good job damaging it. TAKE CARE!
I am resisting looking at the eagle as I'm sure I will get hooked, but it's good to read your reports on it.
We went out last night, for son's birthday, to an Indian restaurant where we had a wonderful meal. Pity Emily had to go back to uni on Monday so she couldn't come with us.
I have the house to myself for a couple of hours so will try and get some swearing done. I've already tackled the gninori.

Sending healing thoughts to Poss's mum.

Julie, the staples on my daughter's incision (about 8 inches long) are very close together. Each one of them has to be swabbed clean.

June, yesterday I saw both eagles sitting on a branch when they moved the camera around. Even saw a horse and the farm down below. At one point yesterday there were over 6000 views on the site. It's mesmerizing.

On to the next page .....

Heidi, I believe "no" would be the answer to all your questions about Dana. She is just being a teenager.

Suzy, a bunch of us have been there and done that and don't want to do it again, but that doesn't mean we don't feel for you. Teenagers pfttttt.

Sleep well and good luck at bowls, June. Love your words of wisdom. We need those especially now that eaa is gone for 12 weeks.

I'm icing down the foot... so the swelling is going down. I'm now thinking that it's just badly bruised and swollen, not fractured.

UPDATE: 02 MAR 2011

Facebook have announced that plans to share the contact information of its users to 3rd party application developers will go ahead shortly, though details are not confirmed. What we do know is that Facebook users will have to explicitly give their consent when installing an application, for that application to obtain such details, and Facebook have also stated that they will make it more obvious to its users what information they could potentially be compromising. Facebook have also said they are considering not allowing Facebook users who are under 18 to have their contact information shared at all.

Apparently the problem isn't the usual apps but rogue apps - and most of us are getting good at recognising those when we see them - a quiz or survey being the number one signal.

Sorry, morning all!

After having strips ripped off her for bad choices and thoughtlessness, we didn't have to wait 15 minutes for her to ask if the homeless girl could stay here last night. (She seems to stay a maximum of 2 nights per house.) Teenagers really have no clue!

Broni, thinking of you, Possum and his mother

Tami, that was great coffee, even hours after it was brewed. Thank you!

June, good luck at bowls, hope you have an enjoyable day - even with no sleep.

Heidi, I was thinking when you first mentioned the swelling that once, a long long time ago, I was told that breaks don't usually cause as much swelling as sprains or other injuries, so I hope you're right. I thought I was probably wrong because you didn't twist it, you hit it with something.. Whichever way, I hope it isn't broken.

One more for a CP...

YUMA, Ariz. — A runaway dog darted into an Arizona apartment and found a cool place to hide — the bottom of the refrigerator.

To the book of faces! C'mon — what's not to like?
Hoof it over to Facebook to join the weird news herd.
..A Yuma Fire Department spokesman says the family told firefighters the pooch rushed into their home when they opened the front door and kept snapping at them.

When they went to the fridge to get some food to try to lure the dog outside, the animal jumped in the appliance and refused to come out.

Firefighters found the small black terrier-type dog crouched on the bottom shelf, snapping at anyone who approached. They used protective gear to pick up the pooch and put it in a carrier.

The dog had been reported missing by someone else at the apartment complex and was returned home safely

Suzy... I know from experience that breaks really swell up. That's why hospitals usually set the limb in a splint to wait for the swelling to subside before setting it in a cast. The dark bruising seems to set in quicker when there's a break as well.
