MizT, almost forgot to say how fantastic two sizes smaller is! I am unfortunately headed the other way....

Ally is straightening my hair as I type this. I've never had my hair straightened before. Could be 'interesting'.

MizT, after reading Suzy's dress size post, I had to go back to see what I'd forgotten...YAY YOU! That is fabulous, and I fully agree with having short hair, so much easier.
I came home from Thursday's Beanarama to find hubby had his hair cut. He used to have long hair from ever since I've known him. Very rarely would he have it cut, and within a 'short' time it would be long again. That was up until a couple of years ago when he cut it and decided to keep it short. I loved it, took years off him and looked darker than his peppery ponytail.
Anyhoo, this year since not working so much, he thought he might start growing it again to long...well thankfully, that little rebellious phase has worn off, and lets all join hands and think as one...IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!
I think he realises you can be a retro hippy and still look half decent!

Try it for yourself a few times, you get to like it and it becomes a lot easier to do when you have got the knack. My girls do it and at the same time applying their makeup and eating their breakfast whilst running out the door!

I think I had best get back to the garden and playing with my Waterlogs..!!

I posted a pic of the back of my hair. I got Ally to take one from the front too but it looked horrendous so you don't get to see that one...

Now if I was a quicker thinker I would have said something about the photo being truly offensive, so sad that I am slow....

Hubby has just arrived home and when he walked in jumped back and said 'oh my god!!!'

No other details on accomadation or anyfink for me and my cousin Maz apart from going to Maryborough Sat Lunch for a long lost family reunion and gatecrashing Vici's Halloween party.

Good Maen everyone! Haven't been here very much. Had 6 pages to read, can't remember everything...HOWEVER, it seems I missed a conversation about Queen (my favorite band since they started!!)
I got a call last night from my friend Johnette. She had a bellydance performance last night...Did her first solo!! She was GREAT!! I was a very proud friend!
I hope everyone who was ill is getting better.

My baby boy is 31 yrs today.Don't bother posting birthday messages for him as he will never see any posts.I will go around this afternoon after work and hope to catch him if he gets home early enough.He often works late and I will be too tired to hang around for long.

My sister came home from Sydney with a new (2nd hand) car for me.I think I am still in shock.
Because of the arthritis in my knees,she has been on at me to get an auto.With Greg not working etc,money is tight,so I just plod along taking meds.WOW.
She is so generous and I am very glad to have her as a sister.
Its a 3 yr old Hyundai Getz and is like brand new.Easy to drive,economical etc.Now I will sell my old Hyundai Excel which has been very reliable.
Anyway,I must love and leave you until next time.

I need someone to rescue me. I have the 2 Beastie boys with me, and the dog. The dog is the one giving me a pain. I am ready to throw him out. Will never take him here again. The boys just got home, my son took them on a wave runner. They loved it.

Broni: House hunting on hold for now, unless we want to use it as a second residence, which would mean a long-distance relationship again. One of us would HAVE to live there, or trust that the family up in Washington would look after it for us (not really an option). We'll have to wait till we sell this house first.
Bobbi: Hi Mom! Got stuck with Rachel huh??!! Sorry!!
Nola: Congrats on the new(er) car! You have a great sister to do that!!!

Suzanne is right, her name is Rachel, but I always call her-he. Still a pain in the you no where. Can't wait for Monday morning, we are all going back to Tami's house to wait for her. She should be home aroung 7:30 P.M. Can't wait.

Broni...ummm...may be getting a little long in the tooth for a pyjama party...or late nights. Bearing in mind there will be some VERY young guests [Flynn and the older but nevertheless youngsters - the vdV's] I don't think we should be starting too late.... 5pm... really don't know. It will be here unless the wheels come off my cart completely...
