Morning all!
I really should set my alarm when I need to be up in the morning - then I won't wake myself up too early with a panicked 'what time is it?'
RIP Destiny...
Brenda, your trip must be getting close too. I'm jealous that you will meet Tami and Bobbi, though I hope to be meeting a few SAers myself.

MizT, I was laughing about Screech, but I'm sure you weren't laughing while she kept it up, so much for going back to sleep.
Mamacita, you have been very busy! I will see if I can look at the wedding photos on fb as I would love to see them.
Nola, veeeerrrry slowly. I've only got a few cm done. Normally I would just take it everywhere with me but I am finding that if I go onto automatic pilot with this pattern I make a mistake. It shouldn't be like that, it's not a hard pattern, though maybe that's the problem.

I have read but I don't remember anything. I do seem to recall that everyone seems to be healthier. One home from hospital, another not needing chemo. Glad that all of our thoughts and prayers have been helping.

Hello, Fellow Sudokuaholics!
Bean, you will certainly be relieved when all of the moving of dressers and their contents, etc. is finished. I know you'll find the bed soon!
Broni, Bean really set you up for the page turn that didn't happen until much later.
June, what a busy day you had with your grandson. Too bad all of his energy can't be harnessed! Some of us here could occasionally tap into it when we're running out of energy.
So glad to hear the news about how well CynB's sister is doing, and how well Gail's Bill responded to his surgery. Keeping fingers crossed and prayers flowing for excellent news of Rolanda's Mum!
Brenda, hope your son's first day of work went well!
Suzy, amazing how 30 minutes becomes 3.5 hours! Your idea of playing CD's for part of the time sounds like a good way to deal with the change. I hope the girls enjoy it - and hope Ally's friend who just got braces is able to deal with it. Maybe the excitement of the performance will take her mind off the pain of new braces.
Vici - just 5 days? You must be bursting with excitement. Have you finished packing - or is there room for some of us to stow away? So sorry to hear about Destiny Dog. That is always such a hard decision to be made. Thinking of you and your friend Cheryl!
Suzanne, cheers for the improved weather! Hope you and hubby have an excellent weekend!
MizT, seems to me that 95 minutes of cat yowling would be a record, but I didn't go check. So sorry Screech wouldn't let you sleep, but glad you stuck to your guns & remained in bed! Hope you're feeling better soon!
Brenda, I'm sorry you didn't get the girls' jumpers done. Maybe they will still fit them when cooler temperatures return.
Mamacita, thanks for your very newsy comment. Sounds like you have been very busy in a good way! Cirque du Soleil with your friend sounds like fun! Any suggestions of how to find the wedding pictures on Faacebook? Maybe I'll give it a try tonight. We're always glad to see you post!

The girls did great, and we put a deposit on a car. A 5 year old Mazda 2 with 52,000km on it. The new Mazda 2 was too expensive otherwise we would have had two 2s....

Dropping in before I drop off to sleep. I did not get a lot done today but there is always tomorrow. It is cool here and i did turn on the heat, We will hav3 nights in low 40's or high 30's for about 3 or 4 nights, an early cool spell, so it is justified. AND at last, we might get drier weather, les humidity, that would be very nice.
YEAH SUZY, glad you are getting the new to you car. I think I missed out on th estart of the car hunt, but glad you can see an end soon. Congrats on the girls doing well today.
Julie, lovely summary of the last few pages, you do such a great job of that! Tami could have used your post to refresh her memory of what she read hehehe.
Not many posts today, I imagine everyone was busy today.
Hugs to all and catch you tomorrow.

Suzy, I'm glad the girls did well. Did they really need to entertain for 3.5 hours? Yikes! Great news that you have found a car that can join your family! Hope it's the perfect match!
MizT, I'm glad you decided to warm up your house a bit! That will also help the indoor humidity. We had to break down & turn on our heat about a week ago. We were going to bed wearing multiple layers!
Heidi, we hope you'll feel up to hanging around with us a bit. It's SOO good to see you! Bean's right you know! We do give a sheet! Feel better! Our best to you and all your beloved animals and birds!

Bean, I was watching the video this morning. Incredible isn't it? If you just read about it you would never believe how short a time it was between her letting go and the pram rolling off. And her body language told you that she just knew that her baby was dead... Even knowing it had a happy ending it was hard to watch.

The girls didn't end up singing for 3 hours. Turns out it was 'or' until the crowd disperses. Several people asked why they didn't get to sing earlier etc, wish they had, bla bla. And one lovely thing, there is a retirement village over the road (wonder how they coped with the sirens and horns from the cars leaving on the rally?) and a bunch of people from there came out to listen to the girls sing.

I think the car is a match. We actually went to look at the new Mazda 2. We don't actually have the money yet so we were just going to look. We ended up test driving the used car, thought it was great and so put a deposit on it.

We lost the baseball so have to settle for a silver medal. Gave away 8 runs in the first dig for a final score of 9-1. My son did not get a hit today only a walk and a ground out.
Good news is Belinda took Grandson home for the night so she will have both him and Laura(who is staying with her for the weekend. We will go and pick them both up tomorrow. At the moment I am home all by MYSELF!!!!!
I did get a couple of hours yesterday to shop while Hubby took grandson bush walking and I even managed to do some Christmas shopping!

Suzy congrats on the new car. It will be nice to have something worthy to drive again. You should have been as lucky as Ken's nephew. His wife entered a competition at a new shopping centre and she got a call on Thursday and she had won a new Ford Fiesta! Pleased the oldies enjoyed the singing.
You need an intercom to the workshop Tricia and then Hubby could have come and removed Screach

Hi all, Heidi great to see you back you have been missed.
Julie, I think it was Nola who didn't get the girls jumpers done. I have just started to knit my great nieces jumper and it should be ready next week but as it is for xmas I will be in time, Making a little bit bigger than needed at present as the family live in Australia so will not need it for a good few months.

Plus thank you to my friends from here who have added him as friends on Fb and are giving him a run for his money at Lexulous.

June, we dohave an intercom to the shop, it is through the phone system, but that also would have required getting out of bed. the phone lives on my computer desk, and I usually forget to put it by bedside when I go to sleep.
BEAN how very scary about the baby being hit by the train! And just when they had a safety campaign to prevent things like that.
Julie, one reason I do not like to turn on heat, hubby wants it up much higher than I do. I have trouble breathing if it is too hot, and he freezes if it is not up high. One of the side effects of his open heart surgery, he has been cold ever since.
Suzy, what is wrong with your brain the last couple days? this is so unlike you, you know?

Brenda, I will now have to go over to fb to see what he wrote...
MizT, I would deliberately forget to put the phone by my bedside! It never fails - people only call when I'm desperate for a good night's sleep. Same thing with dirty floors and visitors... You're right, my brain is always a little bit off so it's not really a good reason for missing posts is it!!!

Brenda, I was trying to think of a way to post under hubby saying we should have chosen a Mazda 3 because then I'd have a triple instead of a double but couldn't think of a way to make it sound clever.... He sure is hard to beat at lexulous, but I've had a few lucky draws with the letters. I think it's you who is very good at placing things on the board so there is nowhere to play the really good words :(

Sigh. Was just over checking that fb page. Hubby had someone else's camera yesterday and took some photos for her. He also decided to video one of their songs. It was their worst song of the day, I cringed while they were singing it - and it's posted on fb!!!

Good morning lovely people.
to Mr Suzy
Yayyyyy! Heidi's back - I hope she's going to stay this time.
We helped move Andrew into his townhouse yesterday. It was a mess when Karin, Maddie and I got there - so now it has a 'woman's touch' because we unpacked and fixed up the kitchen and 'advised' where furniture should be placed. Looked much better when we left. We were all so exhausted that we bought take-away Indian food from our favourite place. Yum!
Have a nice Sunday, everyone.
