Had more to say, but had a long, good day with Darrell & getting ready to go to bed (after the NBA basketball) Los Angeles Lakers are playing the Denver Nuggets. Regular season starts on 10/27. Can't wait!! TTFN everyone.

Oii! Oii! Oii! Here I am writing from Beanie's pooter. I'm all snuggled up in a lovely "Brunch Coat" (a robe to all you top-siders) that Bean gave me as a gift...just like a fancy hotel!
Anyway - I am all woozy (it feels like I'm on a ship right now and the seas are a-rollin')
Tried to nap, but no luck. I should sleep like a rock tonight though!
Thank to everyone for the well wishes. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL here. And June? I did get a wonderful view of Sydney from the air when we got in this morning. I was fortunate to have a window seat and be on the correct side of the plane to view the harbor.

Interesting evening here. Ebob is off helping people learn how to play baseball. There were a couple of young girls there who were naturals. She was supposed to be bowling so we'll have to fit that in somewhere next week. Ally did bowl. Hubby is still out with Ebob and Ally and I are getting ready to go to rehearsal. I forgot to pick up a present for the birthday girl so we have been rummaging around looking for something. I found something I was going to send to my SIL which I can replace so that's what she's getting. It will be a late night tonight again...

had my check up this morning for the prep for the operation
It was yucky, as I had a camera put up my nose,
not comfortable at all.
But no problem at this stage with the vocal chord, so green light for the operation to go ahead.

OH MY, I did not realize I had been missing so long. couple of people came checking up on me and I was shocked to see how many pages I have missed when I signed in today. I have 2 excuses. been a bit under the weather, literally, cause weather systems left me more achey than usual. Also, we are having some repair work done here at the house, and that has upset my schedule. I will be getting a new bathtub, hopefully installed tomorrow. We picked out the tub and tub surround and got it home yesterday. My old one is worn out, cracked, and not functioning well at all. those leaks ( thank goodness new pipes now so that is repaired) damaged the floor, so we will have new floors, not floor covering, that too but floor itself replaced. We had to go and choose and buy a new floor covering one day. So all this going and looking and deciding plus achey days has left me with no time to get on here.

I hope to do better after the weekend, and try to catch up then. sorry, not able to read to catch up today, I have to remove EVERYTHING from the bathroom!

OH, I did a preliminary clean up in there one day this week, to get rid of anything that I could, so there is less to remove tomorrow. EVERYTHING has to come out, to get the floor replaced, , and to get the tub in, ewven the toilet. B"IG job!

Hi everyone. I am home from school early. It is the end of the first quarter and all my grades are entered. I have the weekend free. I will do some of the work for my online class, trying to get ahead. I am helping out with Dylan's sunday school class. We will be baking Challah, an egg bread.

I have read the posts but I don't remember what I have read. About to take Dylan out for a little while. I will try to come back later for a visit but I promised my boys, all 3 of them, some quality family time. Wonder what game they will pick out that they will beat me in.

Today is the last day of holidays and I am back at work Sunday.I've had a lovely break,having gone away then a good rest at home.I meant to do wonders around the house but didn't as other things kept cropping up.Oh well, too bad.

Apparently I will be helping dress people on the night of Carols in the Park. I'm a bit disappointed as I would rather be in the audience, but you gotta do what you gotta do. The girls' costumes have to be pulled down from underneath so I'll be putting my hands up their skirts! The costume looks good on Ally, but not so good on one of the other girls. I haven't seen it on all of them yet. I'll reserve judgement...

Ahhhhhh! That's much better! Still feeling a bit tired, but the rocking boat feeling has finally left me. Just enjoying some wonderful coffee and early morning visit with the Bean! I'm in heaven you guys!!! I guess we're doing a bit of city visiting today and then night lights time in Melbourne. I'm hoping to get a few videos posted on our travel blog before the internet speed dumbs down to dial-up!
I think I have had that woozy feeling because I am now upside down!

Nola, It does snow in Utah. I will be hearing from Suzanne shortly with her complaining about being snowed in. Being the wonderful person that I am, I will make sure to call her and let her know that I am still in shorts and it is a beautiful 70 degrees (21 c) instead of her 40 (4.4 c).
Suzy, I am not usually that organized. There are 8 units. I did 1 and 2 and gave them to a friend. Someone else gave me 3 and 4. There are 5 of us taking the class together so we are trying to "share" the workload.

Just to show all of you what type of person I am:
One year on Christmas day hubby and I took the boys to the beach to take a walk on the sand. It was a beautiful day. All we needed was light jackets. I called Suzanne to tell her what we were doing and she called me a b*tch. It was snowing by her.
