Hi all. Just stopping in for a minute. I have been spending waaaaaay to much time on the other page taking care of my critters. Why did I ever start????? I have read the posts but have no idea what I read.
Vici, glad you are safely home and had a good trip.
MizT stopped in for a visit.
Judy (I think) has a broken arm. We have all done some crazy little thing that we are embarresed about.
Brenda should be on her flight home. She should have left about 1 hour ago. It was great to meet her and Richard. I also look forward to meeting more of my friends one day.
With that, I am going to say good night. It is almost past my bedtime.

Oh yeah, sure Lizzy!
Hubby and I have been gardening too. We have been repotting and dividing some of the hanging baskets, and finally got the other avocado in the ground. We know they wont fruit, as they sprang from seeds thrown into the compost, but they make nice trees anyway.
I would love to do some weeding as ours are taking over too, but the ground is already rock hard, so I will have to wait for some rain, otherwise they just break instead of coming out.
BTW I have avoided the pother page's zoo thingy and fully intend on keeping it that way!

Hi everyone!
Not quite so hot today? We got up early to water our garden (only allowed b/n 6 & 8am on Saturdays) then we both went back to bed - Rob has just got up! (2.45pm!)
My arm has started to really itch - driving me crazy! Otherwise everything is okey-dokey.
Hope you are all happy snd healthy and having a nice day. :)

This time last week I had all those lovely Sudoku people in my back yard! It is a bit warmer today, bright sunshine but still lovely under the trees. No birds at the moment as there are no people there to attract them!

Judy, pleased you enjoyed your holiday....but did you really have to break your arm?
Liz, I hope all goes well next week with the Operation. Hope to see you posting while you are recuperating.
Suzy congrats on the new car. Belinda has a Getz. Saves about $50 or more on driving to school than when she only had the 4 wheel drive. (needs that for the horse float)
Vic, nice to see you home safe and sound. We all enjoyed entertaining you while you were here. It was also an excuse for a lot of us to meet up as well.

Julie, I hope you are improving every day. Thanks Tami for the updates.
Brenda, safe travels home. Pleased you enjoyed your holiday and caught up with Tami and Bobby and the family.

Bean, how successful were those injections to stop the allergies? I can understand how the Melbourne heat drains the strenght from you. I know what it did to me when I was still in my twenties (all those years ago!!!)
Suzanne, hope you are not suffering too much with your allergies.
And Stella you are still driving and driving and driving to all those games etc to see all your children and their achievemants! A very dedicated Mum.

Cyn, Liz, Broni and all those who were here last week, I wish I could just walk out and you were all still in my back yard.
Anyway I have relaxed today. I went to the movies and saw 'Amelia' and then did some more Christmas shopping. I have also caught up with a few phone calls and Emails.

Colin is slaving away outside putting up Christmas lights. Only about 1/10th through it. That's the trouble with having so many and he can't stop now, the neighbours have noticed and are stopping to say thanks for doing it because last year he didn't. Last year we thought it'd be our 3rd Xmas without Andrew and family and couldn't get into the spirit. Then he came back in time for Xmas but not for us to get the lights up!

Hi all
Lyrics for the mood
Another saturday night and I ain't got nobody
I've got some money 'cause I just got paid
Now how I wish I had someone to talk to
I'm in an awful way.
I got in town a month ago
I've seen a lot of girls since then,
If I could meet 'em I could get 'em
But as yet I haven't met 'em
Thats how I'm in the state I'm in.
CHORUS
Another fella told me
He had a sister who looked just fine
Instead of bein' my deliverance
She had a strange resemblance
To a cat named Frankenstein.
CHORUS
Its hard on a fella
When he don't know his way around
If I don't find me a honey
To help me spend my money
I'm gonna have to blow this town.
CHORUS
Another saturday night and I ain't got nobody
I've got some money 'cause I just got paid
How I wish I had someone to talk to
I'm in an awful, ooh, I'm in an awful way,
He's in an awful way, I'm in an awful ooh,
I'm in an awful way, He's in an awful way.

Evening all!
June, you must have had a relaxing day - you had time to post! I love it!! I haven't started C shopping yet, and I will have to start soon. It was hard for me to leave your lovely yard last week. It was nice to go out with hubby, but the timing could have been better.
Cyn, we haven't had lights up for a few years now. Hopefully the grinch will get organised this year. I'm glad both that yours are going up and for the reason.

Judy, do you have a waterproof cast? We paid the extra to get one for Ally because she was going to camp. Although it was great that she could jump in the shower etc, she still go the itches and all associated yuckiness. Hot weather and broken bones do NOT go together...
Broni, I too find Laura exhausting because she is so full on. She's a bright little tike and will be a handful her entire life - but for all the right reasons, and a wonderful handful!

Gail, it is an excellent idea to avoid the zoo thingy, however, if you will accept just a few animals and start a zoo, we can get lots of dollars visiting you even if you never touch it again... hint hint! hehe, rofl, says the zoo addict (actually I've cut down on my time in there like a good girl)

So what happened here today - my brother tinted the windows of my car for the cost of the materials. When he does that you don't get to choose the colour and I think we got 'black az', it's really cool! Thanks to my visit there today I have to go shopping - my bro is going to be a grandfather!!! It's a big secret because he wants to tell my mum in person (don't tell her anyone!). Bro has 3 boys and the new grandchild will be a granddaughter. I should have mentioned that although my bro is younger than I am, his kids are older - I was a late starter.

Boy, way too many beanbags in a row - I'm a chatterbox tonight. I've already got a CP. I think I will try to fit any more news I have in this post so I stop at a CP+1.
We have a day off tomorrow! Nowhere to be! Not saying there's nothing to do, there's lots to do, but we have nowhere we have to go with the girls. Everyone needs it so it will be great. Ebob had the chance to play baseball but she turned it down (thank goodness) because she hasn't got to sleep in for months. Quite a big deal to a teenager.
Have a great evening everyone!

Wow, Suzy - you'll be a great-aunt! Congrats.
Yes, that's a good idea for Gail (and Broni) to just start a zoo even if they never touch it again so we could visit and collect dollars. I have a few of them amongst my non-sudoku friends.

I finally woke up. I slept thru' most of yesterday.... I've still felt cruddy at night and haven't slept well, and finally fall asleep around dawn. I've been thinking about the symptoms, and now believe that they're from drug side-effects. They first started when I refilled some 'script, and they gave me a different generic drug. My body should adjust soon... if not, I'll go to my GP.

G'day dear SAers!
June - so happy you are having a restful weekend...that was THE BEST being at your club and home last week.
Judy - so sorry about your arm...I remember that insane itchiness from a cast! I used a coat hanger to scratch.
Geez Heidi - what's with them sending you so many Jury notices? I believe you've done more than your duty!!!
Sorry to hear things are heating up in the land down-under...got just a taste of it and was glad to be back in the coolness of the mountains. Right now my toes are like popsicles! I need to get out into the living room where the wood burning stove is.
I have been in my jammies for 3 days now...finally feeling a bit more normal, but still weepy when I think of all my lovely friends in Oz. Miss all of you so much.
Gail - give Punch a big hug and kiss from me (although I know he'll just squirm away!)

Suzy - glad you are enjoying your car...I loved getting a chance to see it in person - a very cute car - truly suits you!
Cyn - showed Mike the Big Ram this morning - he totally cracked up! That calendar's pictures are hysterical (a calendar of BIG "things" down-under...a giant orange, mango, ram, etc.) - we have many places like that here in the states.

I can't wait to put up my calendars in January...one that I mentioned from Cyn of BIG THINGS (hehe), one from June with Australia's wildflowers (beautiful), one of Sydney sites from CP (Cath). Such wonderful memories!

I know I'm bragging a big (re: the loot), but I do need to mention the red chamisol that Broni and Maz gave me (only one of many goodies in a bag of loot) - it was a true Dag gift!
Got lots of Platypi, plus other wonderful critters...and of course you must have all seen the gorgeous, fuzzy robe (house coat, can't remember the Oz term for it) that Bean had for me. Part of the Cunningham B&B experience!
