Hi Susan, Mariana, Suzy,Heidi, Julie,Rena, Judy,Tami, CynB, Brenda, and anyone else who drops by.
We had a meeting of some Sydneysiders(Hubby did not go) and then Linda/Pioneer was visiting Sydney and I organised for us to take them sifgtseeing. Hubby was quite happy about it and then we met up at Gails when Broni was there so Hubby knows who I am talking about when I pass on some snippets of conversation that we have.

We had a good day as we drove to D1's. Laura and her mother came with us. Laura enjoyed riding the pony and then we went to a farm that had some foals. One tiny one was 4 1/2 weeks early and another was one week old. The rest were older. All were very friendly and valuable as this person imports horses to improve the breeding.Must check my photos and see if I have one I can put on my page.

JUNE, what a lovely Day Laura had, riding a pony and greeting the foal. Lovely photos with very good memories. she is soo cute in that pink dress and her little hat. Thanks for sharing.

Mariana, I understand what you were saying. Could easily figure out your skype name, if I ever get skype installed here.

SUZY, I forgot to go look at your photos, going now. Well, as soon as I clean my keyboard. Finger of my morning blood sugar stick decided to bleed again, that has not hapened before. I decorated my keyboard fore I noticed it, YUCK.

SUZY, loved the photos of the girls art. My favorite was Ebob's tile thingy 2 I think. I had trouble trying to see the painting of the boat, too big for my screen. What I could see of it moving around, looked impressive.

I thought you were putting up photos of your pic-a-nic at the dam? Guess that did not happen yet. Do let us know when you can get those up please, would love to see them.

Good morning all! A little warmer today, 14F, and sunny! Bryana is going back to school this morning. Jerry is going to drive her. I've decided, at the last minute, to print a calendar for her, so that is what I am doing at the computer!

I had skype on my old laptop so I could talk to Meghan while she was in Egypt. I'll have to get hubby to put it on my new one.

I have my webcam installed and had a test chat with Vici this morning. It doens't seem to work on MSN, will have to fix it. But it does work on SKYPE. If anyone wants to add me, send me a PM and I will send you my contact names.

Thought I'd add my two cents worth about meeting people from this site. People I know asked me about it. Some were freaked out. This isn't an anonymous site. People have met each other, there are pictures on their personal pages. Someone would have to go to a lot of trouble to fake that. It was the greatest experience of a lifetime. I met lots of wonderful people from this site. My husband doesn't have a problem with me talking to people here. He also didn't have a problem with me and his baby girl staying with people we had never met, or he didn't say anything to me. I guess he trusts me.

Just got up. I feel well rested.

I need to go out and wash harness and buggy for Challenger , then take them down to the trainers place. That way he can get used to my stuff there.

HEIDI, Challenger is such a pretty animal. However do you keep all the long white fur on feet and that long tail clean and tangle free?? Do you use Cowboy Magic to keep out all the tangles?

We have no sunshine here, reason I have another sun avatar. Hope I can imitate sunshine hehehe. It is warm, heat turned off daytime, but it is damp and grey and muddy. Cross fingers, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday might be sunny. I hope so, need to feed the machine again, and hang out clothes. I had to hang wearing clothes on clothes hangers and on the shower curtain rod last time I washed. Undies had to go in dryer.

I have LOTS of problems keeping his mane, tail and feathers (on the legs) clean and un-matted. Then Flash likes to nibble on his mane and really mess it up. The owners of Challenger's sire (Wild Creek Farm... google them) keep his main and tail in braids when he's not on exhibit, to keep it from matting.

MizT, I downloaded the picnic photos to the desktop PC, then Mum came home and I didn't get a chance to resize them for here. Now I'm on the laptop and Mum is either asleep or relaxing in bed so I will have to do it later.

Rena - it hadn't occurred to me that you would be staying with people you had never met! It doesn't feel that way does it?

One more point on the 'anonymous' thing...

Although we are not really anonymous to each other, there are others who are sneaky, nasty, petty and so not as funny as they think they are! We saw one of them pop up again in the new members box a little while ago. And they could be lurking without posting too. That's why it's a good idea to keep the PM thing going for personal information.

BTW, I don't mean any of the regular posters on any page of this site...

as soon as i clean up my house i am going to open up my skype. right now the remains of lunch are flung about, and the kids are going crazy. i might have to wait until tonight or even tomorrow....sigh. no one could hear me what with all the noise going on here!

I have been on vacation for two weeks. I bought home a ton of papers to grade and haven't done one yet. I am hoping to get some done today.

I bet you can't wait until school goes back Mariana!

Suzy, I wish I had another 2 or 3 weeks off. Unfortunately that won't happen so I need to go grade some papers. Thanks for the chocolates Vici, it might just give me the energy I need.

I have never made friends on-line until coming to SA. Of course, I never really had a venue before. This experience has been such a blessing. All my family and friends are just kindly amused at my relationships with all of you.

The one thing that stood out to my family and friends is that I zipped down off the mountain to the SF Sudoku meet in November...committing to it in a heart beat. Everyone who knows me knows I HATE going down into the throngs of people in the Bay Area. I rarely will go down there for my family or friends. No hesitation what-so-ever with a chance to hook up with a Sudoku crowd!

Very cool, Suzy - the fruit reminds me of "fruit of the loom" underwear commercials where the different fruits are HUGE (people dressed as fruit)...Ebob has her priorities straight!
