Has anyone else lost the words at the top - Home, Archives etc? Mine have been replaced by rows of squares.

Susan, mine look fine too.

But it's taking forever for pages to load.

I didn't win the finches. They got up to $130 each, plus shipping costs. And the seller was planning on shipping them illegally, which cost less, but endangered the birds. I've been emailing a more reputable breeder.

I thought it must have been what I did. My membership renewal notice popped up, which told me to sign out etc. I did, then signed back in, and now the headings have gone. What to do short of

I've always wanted to do this None Today.

I've also lost the timer on the left.

That's really weird Susan! Perhaps it's just taking a while to update itself? My computer seems to take quite a while to turn pages, etc lately.

Shortly after typing that, I got a blue screen telling me that the physical memory dump was complete. I restarted and the screen said that a major problem had been rectified. I'm not even going to try to work out what happened, but my headings are back.

Wow, sounds like something very scary! Well, getting your priorities right - at least you can still play your game! Hope your computer hasn't "dumped" anything important.

I keep getting solid white pages when I try to refresh a page. I then have to go to another site, then return to get the new post(s).

And with that, I'm heading off to bed.

The site has really been ailing today...losing posts, pages, not reloading...slow...
Working now and that is all that matters.

I'll try posting...see if I can break the site completely!

Long time, plus white screen of DOOM!

Been to the hairdresser and suggesred seeing I was trying to be beautiful we could go out to dinner.
Reply "I have a clold'. Does not stop him from going to bowls or doing what he wants. (should not complain as we do go out to lunch quite a bit!)

Susan...don't always read easy...depends on 'time' of which there is letter...because of your comment I checked up on Jane and her 'crabs'...enjoyed the laugh...so thank you.

Hope your FIL is stable today...I am presuming they haven't 'woken' him up yet...trend today seems to be to heavily sedate after brain surgery to allow swelling, trauma etc to diffuse before waking and being able to assess cognitive function.

Well...that only took me 40'...why am I complaining....

Thankfully all the chat about the white screen of doom alerted me to the need to copy my post before hitting submit!!! I persisted more out of curiosity to see how long it would take to get through [not due to anything of mind shattering importance in my post....] I think it was my comment about it 'working now' that really did it in...because that is when I started to to TRY to submit my post that eventually came thru at 5.22pm...

Well Hello ! Things are back to abnormal.

I'm finally back at the computer and just started reading.

I have tried 3 times to post a condolence message on your page, Gail, but it won't accept it. I'll try here to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Gail, I am so sorry to hear the news of your mother. I'm sure you and all of your family members have heavy hearts. I hope you will be able to take some time and share happy memories. Also be glad that she and you did not need to experience the trauma of the surgery and rehab/recuperation. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Gail needs a laugh. In relation to Bean's comment to me, Bean and Gail, you really have to read the earlier pages of Easy yesterday to really appreciate Jane's wit. I think it actually started the day before when Kathy/Maryland made a comment to CG followed by Judy. Kathy should have used 'barracking' rather than rooting.

Ok trying again to post! My Internet connection has been out for a couple of hours - it's back now, but my last post did nothing. I seem to have the aforementioned white page of doom ...
