I didn't watch the parade, so I didn't see them, June. If they were smaller than your average draft horse, with lots of feathers and flashy markings.... they were Vanners.

No Suzy, gums do not transplant well. Try digging them up and 'forcing' them in a pot. That is what we do, lots of fertilizer (one that is ok for natives) and some TLC.

Ok, gonna go back to bed for some more .
Grumpy hubby just had to get up a minute ago. I heard a loud crash and thought it might be a fallen branch. Because the wind has picked up, the bamboo blind we have on the outside of our window blew out so much, it knocked the table over.
Not happy Jan!

Just mean giving them a good head start before putting them back in the ground. Fertilizer and watering, more than they would get naturally.

HEIDI, after I sent that post, I wondered if Gypsy was the horses name. Too late then. I did remember Challenger, but somehow thought you had 2 horses at the trainers.

I do have 2 at the trainers. The other one is Flash. He's being trained to ride, and I may sell him. He's grown a bit too tall for me. He's bigger than either of his parents.

Looks like I missed Gail and Zusy.
Will be trying to paint again today although we will not be getting there until late and think the heat will not help. Hope to get at least one side completed this long weekend so we can turn the boat around.

By the way - I just noticed that my post on page 292 (about 9 or 10 posts down the page) when I mentioned good things that can be put on a baked potato, like shredded cheese and bacon bits and sour ____, the word that would have been on the blank line is underlined twice and is printed in green instead of black. Did I do something naughty? Has anyone ever had that happen to a post? If you have any ideas, please let me know!

Ooooh, Becky got a word printed in green and underlined twice in about the same location on page 293. Were we both naughty?
