And Trouble is here too now!

I should be painting but decided to enjoy some real empty house time ... it has been a while.

What made anyone think my mom would want to change her name?? Even if she did, I have her password and would change it back. The reason we have matching avatars is I had to submit one for her.

Suzy, if Ally is wanting to change her room, I guess it means she is feeling better. Glad the pain went away from her arm. How is she coping with school?

Want me to send you a few avatar selections for your mom, Tami?

Thanks for answering Suzy, June. Sometimes I forget that all my rural terms aren't understood by everyone, even if I think they're obvious.

Just tagged 3 new lambs... all black.... 2 males, 1 female. Also caught and tagged the escapee from 2 days ago. A female.... black with 4 white socks and a big white star.

Tami, she is frustrated, but usually smiling at the end of the day. Today she was in tears not because of anything to do with her arm, but because it is just tooooo embarrassing to be seen with pimples! I'm guessing she isn't able to wash her face properly with one arm, or it's just a part of growing up. I told her to fake it, act like they weren't there and noone would care!

Nice to see you posting Trouble's Mum (Bobbi).
You can't half tell my man and boy are out of the house. Heheheheheh
Rain has stopped, windy now, but this will dry my washing.
Better go hang it out.

Suzy I remember at her age NEVER setting foot outside the house without Clearasil all over my face...looked less obvious that way than blobs just on the pimples. I used to put it on while my skin was damp and managed a thin film that way....

It's still raining on and off here Viv. Not the inches that you got, but enough to ensure that any clothes hung out today would not dry. I'm wishing for an undercover clothes line like Gail and I think Rolanda..

Good morning lovely SA7 people.
MizT - thanks for the advice about reading the pages off-line. Hopefully this is a one-off, caused by the fact that hubby has been downloading music into his MP3 player relentlessly lately. It has never happened before and if it does again I will upgrade to an unlimited plan - nothing's going to stop me getting acces to my friends here!

Suzy - like I said on Easy, Dana's poem is worthy of publishing - it is wonderful! If she's interested, there's got to be lots of places to submit it.
My cousin's daughter won a poetry competition at her school and ended up being invited to the US - which was great for a 12 yo.

Bean, they're tiny little things, nowhere near as obvious as she thinks they are! I will buy her some pimple pills from the natural health store and they will help her feel like she is doing something.

Cyn I wouldn't know where to start! Her teacher's comments on the poem were not very exciting. I can see problems with the way the poem is constructed, but the imagery just made me all teary. Worth more than 'nice imagery, well done' I thought. But then I am a Proud Mummy and we see things differently to English teachers....

Showery rain here. Washing done yesterday and is in the 'sun room'
My neighbour has been wanting me to go to the movies with her for weeks. I have a free morning and she has gone out. Probably be another two weeks before I have another free morning.
I really did not want to stay home and do FFUTS!

I had a fruit tart (apt?) and hubby had requested a ham and cheese croissant but they don't do them, so he is making one himself from the stash we had in the freezer.

This little mother hen here is a tad worried. Her boy and his girl are having a few days away down south.
There is a bushfire down in their neck of the woods on Sat, flared up again yesterday.
Yesterday they went out and about, and couldn't get back to where they were staying, roads blocked.
They were put up in a hotel overnight by the shire.
They are fine, so no worries there, but still..........
Just sent a message to the boy, am waiting for one back.

Rolanda nothing worse that worrying about one's kids. Sounds like they're not alone if accomodation was organised for them. Trouble is at that age they forget that MUM WORRIES!
