Okay thanks Suzy. I was looking on the Statewide Current Incident Summary.
It is just so so wet here, I have been out taking some pics.
Will download some now.
Hubby took the car today, too wet for his postie bike. I was supposed to be dropping Avon brochures but not in this weather.

You do realise that when you wish the rains would head south that I am in between you and Victoria? Our river is being drained to death to water Sydney so some would be appreciated, but 4" overnight?

Should have been oats Liz, but the house was in turmoil this morning. The girls would have missed the bus except the driver saw Ally trying to run holding on to her cast and took pity on her...

Zusy: have 2 hours yet before it is an empty house.

People! Stop reading the CFA site!!!

The Curch St address they put up is the default addy they use. It is actually the address of the Cockatoo CFA. When Gembrook has a callout, they use the Innes Street addy, again the home of the Gembrook CFA.
I don't know where the incident was but have no fear, the CFA are as jumpy as the rest of us and they pounce on anything toot sweet!

No I'm off the naughty chair.
Will have to be careful what I try to say.
I think I was posting about the 'gentleman' who has been charged with starting one of the bushfires and another offence. Think it could have been the other offence wich got me put on the naughty chair

Good morning lovely SA7 people - off-peak time so I can visit. Grrrrr! - still reckon it's hubby's fault.
Viv - we had 4 inches of rain on Friday night - 180mls/over 7 inches all up. Does Port flood? I would have thought being right on the coast that the water would flow away immediatley which is what happens here. We are about 6kms from the bay and only get flash flooding in low lying areas which goes away with the tide.

They are due to come home today, not sure if they are back at the holiday retreat, or still in Nannup.
Or whether his mobile phone is flat, as he didnt answer my message from last night.

Broni - passed by the end of your street yesterday - hubby had to quote on a place in Frank Street. Would have given you a call and dropped in for a quick coffee with you if convenient but we had a lot more to do and Mr Hurry-up ('so much to do - so little time to do it') thought we should keep going.

Yes Brenda - I read about that man - not only is he charged with arson causing death and other associated charges, he was also a pervert - (wonder if that'll get through since what you were trying to say didn't).
It must be so hard on Victorians not to become vigilantes.

Hi CynB.
I cannot believe John is still going to Cafe 66 today. It is just bucketing down non stop and wind whipping about.
I told him to drive carefully.
My Avon is due shortly too, must keep an ear out for the delivery guy.

There is a cure for men like that..... it's what I do to young male calves and lambs. Turns 'em into steers and wethers.

Speaking of lambs..... 5 so far today. I'm heading out to do a caw check now. Only one calf so far today.

Viv - does he drive there or is he close enough to walk? It'd be wet in the outside area of the cafe, wouldn't it - rain blowing in. No, I'd stay in for the day.

Heidi - we had a person, won't say man, like that last year who whilst waiting for trial was moved, by the government, into a house within 2kms of us. Word spread quickly and locals began to protest. There were people outside the house with placards 24/7 and there were meetings of protest. People did become vigilantes and the protest meeting was derailed by the 'mob mentality'. It became national headlines, not because of this awful man but because of the attitude of these other people. They moved him after 3 weeks or so but life was tense around here for a while. The mob wanted to impliment your suggestion there and then. He's still mooching around Queensland, eyeing up little girls, awaiting trial.
