Hello everyone! It has been a while!! Missed all of you terribly! My computer has been down for most of the summer. Ended up buying 3 laptops. Meghan's also kept shutting down, Bryana had been wanting one for a long time and they were having great back-to-school deals plus no interest for two years, so hubby thought it would be good to get three of the same. This way, if one of the kid's broke down, they could use mine while he fixes theirs. So far he only had time to configure Bryana's so she could bring it to school. There wasn't enough time in between Meghan getting back from Egypt and her leaving for school, so we're dropping hers off this weekend. I'll finally get mine next week.(keep your fingers crossed) Then I'll be able to get back here! Talk about being tortured!! I'll definitely never catch up now!

Today is our 25th anniversary. My in-laws are up from North Carolina for two weeks so they'll pick up Ian from school while we do something. Nothing big planned since money is tight, but we may go see Brendan play soccer down in New Jersey. Hubby doesn't usually get to go since he brings Ian to school on his way to work and picks him up afterward. We may stay overnight, but nothing is settled yet.

Slept in (again) and when I got up I spotted a message saying 3 peafowl that I won on eggbid had just been shipped. In case, I checked the USPS tracking number, to see if they actually were on the way, only to discover that they were waiting for me at the PO at our county seat. I'm on my way now to pick them up.

welcome home mizt! spinal stuff can really hurt. sorry that happened, but am glad it went well all in all.

enjoy those peacocks heiei! i am still (yep its been two days) shopping for appliances. i am stuck on which fridge, stove , oven (1 or 2), dishwasher (1 or 2), washing machine, dryer, and microwave to get. should i do built ins or just inserted one? should i do a cabinet panel on the fridge or just leave it plain? which brands? professional grade or normal? do they hold up the same to kids? i have spent hours online and am even further away from a decision than when i started. maybe i should just do a camp stove and wash the clothes on a rock in a stream. urgh!!!

off to attend elsa in toilet duties and clean up a bit more. hope all is well with the vivacious viv and plain old vici. as for the others i'm wishing you a great day as well....june, bean, rolanda, broni, gail, cynb, stella, rena, heidi, mamma, mizt, brenda, julie...i'm sure i forgot someone very important, but you are of course included in the great day. ciao tutti!

"Brutus" (as in "brut")
Or along that same vein: "et tu"
"Pérignon"
"Clicquot"

Then again, "Bubbles" sounds just right!!!

Whatever you name him, make sure you take lots of pictures!

Vici, Eleven was a nick name. At eleven there was no meat on my bones. I was the biggest tomboy out. [grew up amongst four brothers the sisters came later.] Anything a boy could do I could do just as well.

I just talked with MzT. She felt real good for about 30 minutes this morning, but has been hurting a lot ever since. So she's lying down and is limiting her sitting. If she wakes up tomorrow with this pain, she is going to contact the doctor again. This gal is on top of it! No nagging her!!!

Yesterday Laura had a birthday party at 'Lollipops'. By last night getting dinner I was so tired I just wanted to sit down and cry.Put Laura to bed and went to sleep myself. Only problem is the kitchen is as I left it after dinner when I went to bath Laura!!!
Nobody awake as yet so I have now done all the puzzles.
Hope you do not have to deliver again today. Someone here the other day was using a trolley for the local paper. At one stage we used an old stroller.
