from the last new member ( does this make me now and OLD member? )It's hot and humid here - we had a little rain this morning which has steamed everything up. However like most Australians I now sing "I'm dreaming of a WET Christmas, just like the one we used to know.....". So what's a little humidity except a chance to go bra-less around the house and use all the talcum I was given last year?

Gday Heather, I hope you don't mind me calling you that but I noticed you are using it to sign off now. You sound like you will fit right in here, none of us knew why we joined but I have not spoken to anyone who has regretted the decision. For many of us, it has been a valuable outlet in times of need and there is always something to give you a laugh!

Ditto, isn't the sound of the bucketing rain so good? The dirt roads are taking a battering, but nothing that we're not used to. We lost power yesterday for a little while but it was a good excuse to actually get some STUFF done around the house, you know, the sort of thing that we deny needs doing like clothes sorting etc.
