Hello ttt, and welcome to the site.
I have a friend who is so much in love with the people and the country-side in Vietnam that he plans to retire there. Enjoy a double chocolate fudge beavertial pastry from Ottawa as a page warming gift. I hope you like sweet pastry. Cheers!

ttt,
I'm still reading your proof of the tough for 25 aug but I have a comment about step 2. You start this step with the chain fragment "(4)c4=(AUR 26 bc47)=(7)b4". I understand that you were going for (AUR 26 bc47) => (4)c4=(7)b4 but the first time I read your chain as you wrote it I was trying to make just the first = work, that is I was trying to find justification for "(4)c4=(AUR 26 bc47)" which of course does not make sense without the further realization that either the 4 or the 7 must be true in order to prevent the unique rectangle. Do you think there is some other way to write "(4)c4=(AUR 26 bc47)=(7)b4" in a chain that would be clearer? Just wondered if you had thought about this. I'm going to finish reading your proof now. I am enjoying it very much. Thank you for posting.

I finally finished reading your proof of the very tough puzzle for 25 aug. I think the end of step 6 should read "=(7)b2} => b2<>3" and I think I spotted one other typo in an earlier step but I did not write it down. A very excellent proof, I am glad that you shared it. I learn a new technique just about every time that you post. Keep up the great work!
