Jan, thanks for the response. I grew up in Carrick which is right outside of downtown. I moved to Churchill upon getting married, and have lived there ever since. My oldest daugther is graduating from high school next month and is starting at Penn State University (up at the main campus) in July. Busy (and exciting) times in our household! Our other daughter will be a junior in high school next year.

Sounds like you don't get home to visit your family very often. Sorry to hear that, hope you get to talk to them to make up for it. I remember when Pgh. had an indoor football team. It was probably around 20 years ago. I went to one of the games and thought it was rather strange watching football indoors and they played on artifical turf that looked awful. Hope your team's better and that the sport fares better than it did here.

Sorry to ramble on. It is a beautiful day in Pgh. today with temps in the mid 70's already.

hi jan! just saw a post of yours on aimees page and thought i would pop in and say hello to a fellow utahn. i am a transplant here from the seattle area. after 12 years i can honestly say i quite like utah! come give me a visit! my page or lunch. why should the aussies get to be the only ones who have get togethers? we can call up rob and maybe he can come too!

Hi Jan. To get started on today's tough: 2 and 4 are not permitted at a8,d8 and h8. So 2 and 4 are confined to b8 and f8. So a8=6,a7=7. 3 and 5 are confined to h9 and i9, so i3=4 and i4=7. This allows more unique possibilities to 34 filled. Hope this helps. Alfred.
