One of my better attempts posing with a statue.  All I can say is that it's lucky for anybody seeing it that there's no audio.

Youtube- Julian Bream and John Williams playing my favorite piece of music, Claire de Lune, by Debussy.

It's hard to tell which one was worse, his playing or my voice.

Hey, Keith what part of California are you? Northern or southern? 52 inches average? Got to be northern. We're averaging 35 to 40 (if we're lucky) inches. Almost gets to the point when it does rain, we freak out over here! Were you here for that was it 7 year drought in the 70's? My two uncles had to retire back then, sold the farms. I remember having to tell my kindergarten kids not to flush the toilet but wait for a couple to go then flush. UGH!

Keith, Thank you for dropping by to wish me a Happy Birthday and commenting on my art. I took the time to visit you and your family at flikr and enjoyed the pictures you took in Quebec city, sounds like you had a good time and I am glad. All of your pictures are great and thanks for sharing so much with us. My husband and I were born on the same day and the same year, can you believe this? This year is a big year with his prostate treatments for cancer. He is doing well thank God. Only one more radiation treatment on tuesday after all 38 of them. Nice visiting your page, hope to hear from you again.

Weigh in report for week 7: I've skipped weigh ins now for 6 weeks, because the news was bad and I couldn't bring myself to face up to it. I've been talking the good line, but not living the good line. Since my only other weigh in this year, at the end of week 1, I've gained one pound. Actually, I'd gained more, but brought it back down to just one for today's weigh in. I hope I can continue the downward trend. I hope the rest of you are having a better start to the year than I am.

Yup, you and the wombat, in the same picture, I can imagine that! But not without a chuckle! The picture I took of you comfortably seated, I could imagine a wombat curled asleep on your tummy!!! Yeah, yeah, I know it's off to the NC with me!

My bad, Keith! But your avatar makes him look cute and cuddly! But 50 pounds might be a little too heavy to place on your lap! ROFL!! Just thinking about it, giggle , snort! Kind of like Marmaduke trying to be a lap dog!

Weigh in report for week 9, I've gained 4 pounds since my last weigh in two weeks ago. I can't seem to make myself get serious about this again.

Hello Keith just stopping by to give some positive support for you. The weather is getting warmer and now is the time to munch on lovely salads. Fill your plate, eat half and throw the rest.. That way you get to eat what you want but without the guilt. If all else fails then don't worry about it. I have to be in the right mood to motivate myself and I'm sure that is all you need right now. Stay positive...

Keith, calling by to let you know that both my body and my brain are back in OZ. The brain took somewhat longer! Thank you so much for making the effort to spend time with me.
Now you need to know something about wombats. They are quite stupid and will walk straight through a wire fence, usually pulling the fence posts down, too. If you see one on the road while doing 100kph at night, make sure you do the opposite to what you think you ought to do, because that's the way wombats think. I know!. It did no good to my car and even less good to the wombat. In fact they are often found as road kill.

So please don't be like them, just like them.

Andre's advice is good, except that I'd do it slightly differently. At first think how much you would like to eat. Then put a little less on your plate. Gradually you get used to having smaller serves. It worked for me and now I can't eat the servings that used to be normal for me.

So may peace and love and wisdom be yours, my friend.

Whew! Now that I can breathe again (was laughing soooo hard), I shall continue. I'm so sorry but your wombat has taken on another light. Somehow the deer in the headlight comes to mind now that Dino has explained further. ROFL! But it's still cute, Keith! And adorable just like you! Lynn's a lucky lady. Tell her I told you so!

Nice to be back, Keith! Spent quite a bit of the weekend shovelling snow and moving the contents of our kitchen cupboards into the dining room. Demolition begins on Monday, at 7:30 a.m. sharp. The adventure begins! Got a path shovelled to the barbecue as well so hopefully we'll be able to get a few meals cooked that way (and thank goodness we decided on one of those side burners so we can stir-fry; I'm sure the neighbours will think we're nuts). Hope all went well in Sudokuland while I was gone and that you're keeping well yourself. Cheers and have a great day.

Oh but Keith those commercials made my day! I was dragging in after parent conferences and then having to take care of my parents. Then when I went on-line and saw your silly commercial, well, the weight was lifted and I started to smile which soon deteriorated to a giggle and it was all downhill after that into spasms of laughter!

I take that back I've been near the television, just haven't been able to turn it on! Parent conferences, the prep for them has taken up all my time in the evenings!

Hello, Keith. Yes, we live in the land of the Mighty Ducks. I assumed that must mean the folks here have a sense of self-deprecating humor, but that has turned out to be quite untrue. We have a second home in Bellingham, Washington, now. Folks up there refer to these-here parts as "I"-gene.

What a small world. My husband works at the hospital downtown and has probably enjoyed lunch at your son's restaurant often.
We moved here in large measure because of the quality of the high schools. Our kids went to South Eugene HS and were accepted to most colleges to which they applied. My older son had several friends from Sheldon.

When I asked him, Randy was not familiar with it. I'll tell him to seek it out because we both love soups.

Thank you, Keith! My hubby and I are trying to straighten paperwork and getting my dad with the support system he needs. I will see my mom this afternoon. I hope they sedate her so she won't harm herself or anyone. Thank heaven for these lovely stones, I keep them at my desk for easy access! I find the pink and purple ones fit my hand and are my favorite colors. So soothing. . . : )
