One of my better attempts posing with a statue.  All I can say is that it's lucky for anybody seeing it that there's no audio.

Youtube- Julian Bream and John Williams playing my favorite piece of music, Claire de Lune, by Debussy.

It's hard to tell which one was worse, his playing or my voice.

Your yards are so beautiful and healing, Keith. I'd like to bring a comfy chair and a good book and spend the day out there breathing it all in!

Billy, I'd love to find out.

Weigh in report for week 15, I lost 2 pounds this week for a total weight loss of 30 pounds since the first of the year. As usual, I did some backsliding early in the week, and then made up for it at the end. It is becoming harder by the week to stick with it. The ''long term'' part of this is being a lot harder than I expected. I'm starting to feel a greater need for group support, and must give back in kind. We must not waver, plateau or no, but stick with the plan.

Great job, Keith! You should go out to the garage and heft a 30-pound bag of nails or something just to fully appreciate how much you have lost! That is amazing! Keep it up!

Keith, I really enjoyed the treatment of Pachebel's Canon in D. Back in Mozart's days there was a contest as to who could write the best variations on a theme. These guys would given a real run for the money.

Hello Keith, I just had to reply on your page because you probably wouldn't see it otherwise.
I'm not a bloody artist, I'm painting my loungeroom and passageway walls and ceiling and the kitchen ceiling only. Now which do you suggest I do, the painting or the lawns??? I had to laugh at your reply. I've just spent the time since my last comment on easy up and down a ladder because I always do things the hard way. And all I've done is part of the cornices with one coat.

By the way, Keith, just thought I'd tell you that I managed to mow my front lawn and part of the back as well as trimming all the edges. I am now absolutely pooped.

Keith, hope you liked the Chet Atkins number. I really enjoy LAGQ and will see if they have CD's available locally. They play together like a well-oiled machine, but sound much better then any machine ever would. Wonderful!

sorry Keith I hadnt had time to look
mmmmmmm lucky he wasnt staying here.
we have had a few flooded rooms also but the best one was our one and only upstairs unit.
A guest came down on checkout and just said .....
oh by the way the tap is leaking.
I said thats ok we will fix that.
when later we went out all organised to clean rooms only to see water running down the stairs, over the balcony etc etc.
racing upstairs and sloshing through water everywhere we find the whole pipe broken to the tap and water pouring out.
mmmmmmmmmm
he did say the 'tap was leaking'
do you think he could have said ...........
'you have a major problem, water is pouring from the pipe'?
I guess it is a matter of degrees and the interpretation of such!

Weigh in report for week 16: I was a slacker this week, skipped exercising several days and had some beer to drink. End result, I gained a pound. It is so much easier to drift than it is to stay on the straight and narrow. Ah well, back to the grind this week.

Hello Keith. Everything is good here thank you for asking x Your weight loss is amazing and I take my hat off to you.. a little drifting is good, so boring to stay on the narrow. Couldn't listen to Leo Kottke youtube too jumpy today so will try later. Take care x

Weigh in report for week 17: no change this week ... which is better than gaining a pound, I guess. Apparently, back to the grind didn't exactly happen. I was away from home the last 4 days of the week, and eating restaurant food a lot, but I am getting better at ordering smart. I did get back to no beer this week, and that's good.

Well, Keith, I'll try again. This has not been the greatest day for messages to go through. Cyberspace must be full of messages floating around.
I just stopped by to drop off a beer. (You asked about it on the competition page.) I don't know if you'll get it before your trip this weekend, which sounds WONDERFUL. Just remember not to drink and drive.
I've been enjoying your great pictures, especially those in your yard, and your YouTube offerings, when I get a chance.
Enjoy your weekend!
