Wow! What a picture! That is very exciting.

About Phase 10, we would take it and several other games when we would go up to Canada, (Bruce Mines.) If we had a rainy day we would play games and usually every evening we would play. My daughter and her husband went the last 3 years with us. They brought the trophy. So whoever won, would get the trophy. It was a lot of fun!

Hi Linda, thanks for dropping round and thanks too, for the delish home made wine. Making wine can be great fun, with a real feeling of using what nature sends. When I lived in Wales there was a group of us who all made wines; then I held a home-made-wine party. We had everything from pea-pod, to blackberry, to apple to tea leaf wine. Then when we were all in a state of 'vino collapso' ie drunk and horizontal) my husband (ex) brought in a flower vase of some brew and said 'guess what this is.' Guesses were wild and varied and included sheep wool, rhubarb and owl droppings... it was? A horrid mixture of cold tea and flat beer!!!

Hi Linda! I've been absent from the site so much lately it took me a while to realize Linda from Minnesota was formerly the person I knew as LK!! Guess you had to change it when Gath required minimum three letter names?? It's so hard to catch up on everything now that there are so many places to check - personal pages, Flickr photos, You-tubes, contests, etc. Since we've been traveling so often lately I just don't have time to be on the computer as much as I used to. Anyway, hope you had a happy birthday & Mother's Day & anything else I may have missed. Did your daughter go to prom? Is she graduating this year??

Hey Linda - How are you doing? I see you are having a graduation party. Ours is June 3. I am very lucky, as my older daughter is a huge help! This is the last graduation party for me! We still have Bridle Showers and Weddings to go. We have invited about 100 people. I was going to offer you some weiner sticks, (we live in the woods) but it looks like you have plenty! Jenny wants to have a 'campfire' in the evening. We aren't allowed Bondfires in our township any more. So we have to make sure we call them campfires and have food ready. Country living just isn't what it use to be.

Oh yes, your picture is beautiful. Minnesota is such a beautiful state. We really enjoyed riding through there on our motorcycle.

Hi Linda - I am sure Judy won't miss a few weiner sticks! We haven't been to Minnesota since 1990. We went to Rapid City for a BMW Rally. We were on the bike for two weeks and had two days without rain! But the worst part of the trip was the return home. It was a nightmare! Our five children weren't taken care of very well. We had hired an older couple from our church with references! Big mistake. So I haven't done much traveling on the bike since then. Jenny turns 18 on Saturday! We are getting in the moving mode. We have property in VA and hope to move down there permanently within the next year or two.

The Rally is in Wisconsin this year. We might attempt that one.........

Hi - Me again - July 12-15 the rally will be at West Bend, Wisconsin. Usually they are held at the County Fairgrounds. www.bmwmoa.org If you are interested, on my Flickr site is a picture of the 'deer slayer.' My husband bought his bike 30 years ago. He hit a deer with it going to work two years ago. He was lucky to talk about it, but the deer didn't fair so well. Any way, it is his 'pride and joy.' Every year they hold the rally in a different state. If we do go, and you are near there, it would be great to meet you in person!

Oh Linda, that would be so much fun to meet you! Have the gas prices gone up over your way? We are averageing about $3.59 around here. A motorcycle vacation might just be the most economical way to go this summer! It is sure going to hurt the tourism here in Michigan. So many people are already out of work. I will let you know as time gets closer. (I am excited!)

Linda - Is West Bend North or South of you? We are kicking around the idea of taking one of the ferries across Lake Michigan. Just an idea.......

Linda, What a wonderful tribute, not only to your 'other' son, but to of the young people who are involved in keeping us free to play and have fun. Always Remember! May they all come home soon, safe and sound!!!

Linda I had a great time wandering through your flickr pages again...The prom pictures are great...also the concert pictures....but your talented, creative self had me ROLTF with your cartoon pictures and wine labels.....hmmm sure could go for some of that white zinfandel right now!!!!!!

Linda, the main reason I ask is because he reminds me of my husband and several other engineers that I know -- they are all almost anal when it comes to details.
Before I retired I worked for a pulmonary who also does a lot of internal medicine. Four years ago we eft a group of nine for private practice, but the number of patients we saw didn't seem to diminish. What can I say, he's one of the best diagnosticians I've ever seen. I did all the insurance (1st & 2nd), billing and collections. Some days I almost miss it! (I do miss the people that I worked with; there were only 6 of us and it's a tight group. But, I do miss some of the patients, too
