Thank you Vicki/Victoria for your kind words of comfort. My Dad was ready to go as he hated knowing that he was losing his memory and felt that he was a burden to us, at least now he is at peace.

Dear Vicki,
When you described your trials and tribulations of having your little in a cast as carrying around an ironing board, I had this uncontrollable urge to laugh picturing this in my mind. I know how frightened you must have been when he broke the bone but looking back I hope that you are left with memories that will leave the family laughing together. Both my boys are grown and married but we still those memories to recount when we get together.

Hello Vicki - I'm just dropping by to say thank you very much for the lovely birthday wishes you left for me on my birthday on Friday. I received lots of good wishes, cards and presents and yes, FOUR boxes of chocolates, one being some very tasty Rogers mint chocolates from Greg in Canada.

Vicki for your birthday wishes to me. I certainly hope this will be a special year as the last one wasn't too crash hot!
We spent more than a day celebrating, it went well over a week actually. Lots of other things thrown in, but I like to think it was all for me!
My apologies for the tardiness of this reply, I really have only just started to get my feet back down on the ground.

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes, this is a big one for me so I am not quite sure how I feel about it yet, but will have a whole year to get used to it (being 50 that is). Oh well, life goes marching on and that is a good thing.
