I nearly died when I opened up my emails yesterday, had me in tears all afternoon.
Twas one of the funniest days I've had in a long time.

I do 10 pin - and I can send up my 15 yr to shovel - we had a snow day - I'm at work - Ryan had to shovel before MOM got home - did a good job - forgot the sidewalkd but got the area where the plows push up the snow -- that the heavy part. I'm not sure the final amount but it was pretty heavy this morning - but clear roads now and very pretty out. Enjoy your snow - we are in for rain on Monday - I can't see that ... then more snow.

Hi, Greg! Your poem today on Easy might make a good anthem - possibly better than the one you wrote earlier that could be sung to O Tannenbaum. I am just skimming comments, as it's very late. If I get time tomorrow, I'll try to find your previous suggested anthem to relook at it and look at today's poem to see if it might fit to some other existing song. Great work!

Had to look Ottawa up as I wasn't 100% sure of where it is - sort of between Montreal and Toronto, huh. My parents married in Montreal (so they tell me) and I was born in Toronto.

the photo is of Mt Warning - the remnant core of a long extinct volcano. We live just to the west of the mountain and took the photo from a lookout about 2km (as the crow flies) from our home.

Although I was born in Canada, I have never really felt Canadian (I was very tiny when we left). Still, there is a bit of a tug there. My parents tell me it is beautiful, but too cold in winter! From all the weather discussions I've read in Sudokuland, I believe them.

I wanted to strangle you when you first blurted out my birthday on the site ... but it's been way too much fun for that! Thanks, Buddy. XO
