thanks for stopping by and for the holiday wishes. hope you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR....do you have special plans for new years eve? we don't celebrate much. we may toast with bubbly before bed and just welcome the new year in the morning. lol. what a couple of geezers we are. lol
i haven't been on much lately...this move have kept me way too busy. i still have boxes to unpack with no place to put them. hopefully, we can finish installing the kitchen cabinets and get the floors installed (hardwood) it's been slow going, but that's okay. hopefully, we have time.
happy New Year!

Hello Greg
All is well here although I don't think we'll try shopping with a tired Johnathan again!! He fell asleep as soon as we got in the car to come home. Kid's hate shopping but he really wasn't all that bad.
Bye my friend

Mills Brothers - June 30th 1972 - saw them in a lounge show in Las Vegas - had a second round of drinks to see their second set. Smooooth! Classss Act!

The only thing is I don't like is the song "Glow Worm". It brings back bad memories. As a child at Barnum & Baily Circus a group of girls in lovely formals with glowing lights were doing a twirlling aerial act when one fell to her death.

Thanks for stopping by to wish me a happy birthday. It's terrific having 2 birthdays on this site. Actually, I was born in Japan, so I guess the 29th in Australia actually is my real birthday!

Have a wonderful, happy, healthy 2008.

Thanks for the welcome CG, it's been a long time coming!

I'll have to get my brother, who lives in Ottawa, to make/buy me a double chocolate fudge beavertail pastry so I can figure out just what it is! Hopefully he'll be able to do that for me when I finally make it over there to visit him, maybe later this year.

Greg, thank you very much for your wonderful New Year wishes. I cannot possibly top the words you have used because they match my thoughts exactly. I do hope that 2008 brings you better health and happiness. Enjoy the company of your friends - wherever they may be - as we enjoy the peace that our two great countries share.
Good luck old friend.

Greg, you are amazing - a guy who loves to communicate, the kind of guy married women wish their husbands would be more like! Surely you have made more comments & RECEIVED more comments (42 pages!!!) than any other person in Sudokuland - and that's only counting on the Personal Pages, not on the puzzle pages! Anyway, just wanted to tell you what a special person you are & wish you a very happy, healthy, prosperous, & peaceful year in 2008.

Hello Canuk Greg,
I apologize for not thanking you for your welcome and tasty sweet but I had problems thinking of a gift that would be unique and appropriate. I have finally settled on oranges and a spray of Bougainvillea both of which are grown at my home (and the pictures are on my page). Thanks for the welcome and happy New Year,
Merrill

Greg, Yes I do have Scottish blood, my grandmother was born in Australia of Scottish parents - she instilled a love of bagpipes in me as a child.
On the mosaic table - the colours on each panel represent a different number(eg white =1, pink =2 and so on) but of course not as easy to see in a picture. Thanks for looking.
