What did you think of skiing? Through good fortune, I was taken skiing quite a few times during my teens and fell in love with it but haven't been for (?!) years because it is a fairly expensive habit here, I'm afraid.

I live very close to the Chesapeake Bay, so plenty of blue crabs to be had in this area. I've been to Arizona several times, mostly the Tucson area, but did get to Phoenix once. It was definately a welcome change from our cold winter! Take care...

Gday Merrillskid, sorry it has taken me so long to get back to visit again. You know how it is, everyday stuff getting in the way of fun stuff like losing hours of my life virtually travelling all over the world and meeting new people.
This time I've brought some goodies for you. A bottle of Aussie bubbly, a plate of nibblies and a of roses from my page. Drop in any time and take a look around. The kettle's just boiled and my youngest daughter just invented a new dessert treat. Two fingers of a thin slice made from coco pops, sandwiched together with a layer of ice-cream. Help yourself, it's all low-fat, of course!

Had a great time going through your flikr album, how interesting all these different old barns and all the crosses along the way...Make you think...I am not so young myself but while retired from teaching I work my way to become a Pastoral Counsellor, I work two evening a week with individuals in therapy. I enjoy sudokuland very much and visit a new member each day...Happyly today I visited your site and enjoyed every minute of it...Take care and enjoy some maple syrup that I brought for you along some red flowers from my house. I seems that you were in Ottawa for a visit if I consider the pictures you took of the Baptist Church? Hope to have time to visit you again.

to Sudokuland and all of it's wonderful, sometimes wacky, sometimes, well, not so wacky, people around the world. It seems I'm the real slowpoke on the block in getting to welcome you; my apologies. I usually offer key lime pies as a housewarming gift, but it seems as though you've been overrun with pies. But, in case you haven't had them, I am bringing you some key lime tarts--they freeze very easily, so you can save them for later.
I do hope you enjoy this site as much as I do, it's been a real comfort when needed and the humor is outrageously funny most of the time.

Thank you so much for the oranges. Great timing, I was just about to go shopping so I can scratch oranges of my list! I love bougainvillea, in fact, when I was at my Mum's before Christmas, I was so impressed by hers in flower that I am thinking of putting in a few around my place. Not too sure how they will go, we are fairly high up in the hills above Melbourne so I'm not sure if the conditions are right. Our planting motto is, stick it in the ground, give it water and a for luck, then you're on your own buddy!
