HI Gramma Linda--I've been missing your comments in recent days and I was wondering if you were not well. So I was pleased when I saw a comment from you today and then when I went on to your page I saw it was your birthday a couple of days ago. So happy unbirthday--hope it was a good day for you--sorry I missed it.

Saw a comment in which you make a veiled reference to your health - I do hope all is well with you! I am way behind on doing the puzzles, so may have missed something. Also saw our birthdays are close - I'm Sept 9, and appear to be older than you as I went on medicare a year ago! So much fun to wade through the system, isn't it?!

Very sensible of you to postpone Christmas celebrations ... after all ... it will just extend the fun! And the anticipation!

I hope it all falls into place on Boxing Day, or the 27th! We're having our 2nd Christmas on 28th (hubby's side). We had the first (my side) on 20th! So there's more than a week's worth of Christmas!

Gosh! My first time visiting your page. Well, a very, very belated welcome Linda. Enjoy my traditional page warming gift, a double chocolate fudge beavertail pastry form Ottawa!

Now, regarding "thars cold in them there hills," yes and no. In July and August you can walk on the glaciers in shorts and a T-shirt and feel comfortable because of the warmth of the sun. It stays sunny in that area until almost midnight, and is quite comfortable. Cheers!
