Hi Rose! just had a run through your birthday bash photos...looks like a good time was had by all! I know my phone call to you was a bit brief, but the party was obviously already in full swing when I rang and you would have been in great demand. Please remember me to Graham and Lauren and never forget...you're 50 years young, not 50 years old!!

Saw your post about the two day trips to Melbourne. Things get tougher once you turn 50 Rose! Been there and done that. Keep on trucking though, as you'll be going strong for another 50 at least!

Hi Rosemary - love the photo of you in the tiara and feather boa. Great piccies from your birthday. It must have been fabulous.
I was reading a piece in the Age today about ladies in Red - They wear Red hats, purple clothing and feather boas - but only if they are over 50. They like to grow old 'outrageously'. Sounds just like how I would like to be. Maybe we should start a Sudoku chapter of the society.

Hi Rosemary! Thanks for the welcome home. We've put our suitcases away now until our next trip to the beach house in October. We have lots of jobs to do around the house so we'll keep plenty busy. Love your four generation picture - that's really special. Stay warm & healthy down in Oz with those cold temps. now. I wish I could send you some of the heat we have here in FL right now!!!

I've been out of town for a couple of days and in catching up, saw mention of a birthday list. I couldn't find said list so don't know if my birthday is included. If it isn't, you have my permission to list mine: September 11.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Hi Rosemary, You are an amazing woman putting this list together. It means so much to everyone when we get our birthday greetings and other congratulations from our friends around the world.
How are you, anyway? Have you recovered from those boorish boys on their boys weekend? Do you have a website of your hotel? How is your diet going? I have lost a grand total of 4kgs in 3 months and most of that happened when I was skiing! Liposuction is looking better by the day!
Drop by again whenever you get the chance. Rose.

Gday Rosemary. I cannot believe that in all the times we've 'talked' to each other, I have never left my calling card on your page, even though I have come to view your photos in the past. How terribly remiss of me! As I have said, I have already taken the liberty of meeting your family and a lovely bunch they look. Love the idea of a topic of the day, really starts up some positive comments around the world.
I've brought you a bottle of bubbly(lo-cal of course), a plate of nibblies and an invitation to drop into my page anytime. Take a walk around the garden, find a seat in the sun and meet my family. Love to see you there sometime.

Rosemary - I really enjoy Il Divo also.
Gus is having trouble finding anything in his size - he may have to visit a clothing-optional beach on the Riviera or something.

Rosemary, I don't read the 'Easy' comments often but I have just picked up the fact that your husband and dad are unwell. May I wish you and your family all the best during the next few weeks. I have some understanding of your concerns having caused my wife Anne similar problems over the years - Heart Attack, prostate cancer, and in and out of hospital with various heart ailments over a couple of years now. However, everything changed Feb last year when I went into hospital for open heart surgery involving Mitral valve repair and bypass surgery - a general oil change, decoke and valve grind so to speak. My recovery was slow but steady, and in the middle of last year I joined a 'Heart Moves' exercise programme which has made all the difference. I am now as fit as I will ever be, feeling great and ready to take on the world. All I am saying is don't lose hope, things can improve through good medicine and caring doctors.

Rosemary, I am on a restricted fluid intake to avoid another attack of 'Left Ventricular Failure' which can be pretty scary. But it can e controlled with medication if things turn 'pear-shaped'. It sounds like the opposite of your dad. Does he have IBD, 'cos I know all about that too, just didn't mention it? I have found the most important thing is to keep them happy. I tell my kids thar when I lose my sense of humour it's time to bury me. That helps them to put up with my terrible jokes.

Rosemary, I hope your dad and hubby are doing better. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers! Hopefully, nothing too serious will be found to be the cause of the problems. Take care!
