Thank you, Rose for both your wise words and your compliments. My reasons for wanting to lose weight are two fold. One of them is for vanity reasons but it is mainly to increase my energy levels so that I can move from just coping to enjoying my family (I have been having trouble coping as well and as a result we are remortgaging the house and my Jacques is going to boarding school in 10 days!). You would know about this with all the extra energy you would have gained. But I am not going to do anything extreme to jeapodise Veronica's health.

Thank you for your kind words. They served to snap me out of my funk. I have decided not to post much anymore until I can be a bit more positive about everything... I was sounding like I was whinging and I dont want that. I'll be checking in regularly to get your weight progress and I'll be posting mine on my page, too.

Oh, and Veronica is now 3.03kg!!

Rosemary, if I can somehow get your e-mail, I have some little something to send you, as a thanks for helping me with the emoticons site and how to take them to Paint to save as jpg. Still not sure about resizing them, that is hit or miss as far as how many pixels. Stella, and Rola, and Mamacita have my e-mail, if either also has your e-mail we might swap.

Now on that site, http://www.smileyarena.com , did you find some smilies that downloaded as way to high MB, for a tiny little graphic? or am I doing something wrong? Some with nothing much at all and 8 or 9 meg and i have not found a way yet to know till I download them.

What does that tell you?

tells me nothing at all Ian other than huge number of pages on this site alone to spend time on and also people have other things in their lives. I was doing many other things at the same time as hanging around the chatroom.
chatting in the chatroom has not been a high priority for me for quite some time as a lot of us chat at our night time. during the day when I am usually busy, occasionally I check into the chatroom to have a chat with the overseas contingent. some days we have many chat, other days a few, other days no one, like today. but at the same time today was chattting on msn to friends from this site.
glad to see you posting, but why so negative? try adding to the site with your wit and intelligence instead of running the site down.

I'm feeling very full from all the wonderful snacks left for me to welcome me to Sudokuland... Right now I'm working on an assignment (60% of my grade for that subject) and studying for my first exam in over 20 years (40% of my grade for that subject) and escaped into here for a sanity break. In just over a week I should have some time to come in and really explore!! I can't wait......

same as last week, no change
total loss 13kg.
My aim for this time of the year was to have lost double what I have, however it hasnt happened but I am not giving up. I will continue to concentrate on healthy eating and exercise and I am sure it will continue to fall away, albeit very slowly.
