Happy posts today, yeah!

Good to see that June's friend made it home in time for dinner. Hope everyone enjoyed the evening. Hugs to the entire family.

Heidi, know you feel better now that Hollie is up and about. Good that she can still ask to go outside to do her business, too. Give her a scratch behind the ear for me.

Gail right back atcha!

Thanks Tami for the coffee, Enjoy the picnic today, hope you have a nice breeze for keeping cool.

I'm glad you were able to have a nice dinner with the entire family, June. It'll be a golden memory for everyone to share. Savor every minute. Very bittersweet event, tho'.

Hollie and the rest of the Collies are really happy right now. i just gave them each a bowl of doggie ice cream sundae. Beef flavor. So refreshing on a hot day.

I've gotten my stock trailer hooked up, and we'll be loading up Yahtzee in a few minutes. Then off to the stockyards. IH said he'd be home mid afternoon to help load the bull into the trailer, but he hasn't shown up yet. What a shock.

He always seems to be absent when there is work to do doesn't he? Hope you get Yatzee loaded with no problems.

We had about 5 drops of rain, but it is cooler cause nearby areas got more and we got the cool from it. I still hear thunder in the distance, just very small pop up thunder showers, hope one will pop up here fore the afternoon is over.

We are off to town, I have run out of milk for formula once again, and bananas too. Bananas only last about 4 or 5 days fore too ripe. Need to go to the bank also, and Al had things to put in the mail. consolidate as many trips as we can, you know.

I slept like a yo-yo last night, up and down all night hehehe. Hips would not get easy, kept waking me up for every little wiggle I made. Right now, pain levels are lower than they have been in couple of days, but I am a bit groggy from the meds. I hate the groggy feeling, but right now I prefer groggy to hurting. Five more days till doc appointment and yep, I am counting.

Hugs to all with extras. I should be back later.

Good morning/evening all, take your pick.
June...lovely to hear you had a nice family gathering.

Yet again, it took me hours to read all the comments since I have been away.Hardly worth commenting as it has been too long.
It was a very enjoyable read though.

Morning all, beautiful morning this morning!
Mamacita, I'm not game to say what you did to your children anymore because one of them decided leaving was better! She's living in someone's garage!! Have you tried halving the dose of the allergy meds, maybe you wouldn't be as groggy the next day.

Theresa, the strict dress code is the point - you want them to be both embarrassed and in trouble so they get their act together! Glad you are having beautiful weather.

Broni, did I miss something?? Do you have a new job already??

Tami, congratulations on the end of the school year! Have a wonderful summer vacation!

Gail, I can't wait to see photos! I bet toy elephant was disappointed her friends didn't get to see it too.

June, a wonderful dinner will live in your mind with or without the photo. So glad you got to have that!

MizT, I hope the pain stays at manageable levels for you {{{{hugs}}}}

Off to price, and maybe buy, a guitar for Alie, hopefully that will get her off msn - says me!

Yahtzee was a pain in the a$$ to load. He kept charging us and smashing against gates. We did get him loaded and he's at the sale barn. When I got home, IH was standing around, wondering where I was. He's SUCH a big help. NOT.

The phone rang as I was typing that last post. it was Robert. His father has just been taken to the hospital with kidney failure. Not good at all.

Suzy, grandie would not be allowed in the school in pj's, and probably not on the bus.

D said her first day at work was OK but she was in a lot of pain when it was over. I didn't go over there at all today. I kind of felt my concerns about yesterdays' temper tantrums of the oldest grandie weren't taken seriously. So I was just as glad to be left to my own devices today.

Hubby is working tonight - guess I'll get some ffuts done. I'm having spasms in my arm and I keep hitting the wrong keys.

I bet if you called the school Theresa, they would cooperate, they understand about kids and if they don't they shouldn't be working with them! And good for you for not going over there. Don't you wish you could tell your daughter that you won't help them when she isn't home if she doesn't do something about it?? I know, idle threat.

Heidi, good thoughts going out to Robert and his father. Glad to hear that Hollie is doing better.

Read the posts but too tired to remember what I have read. I enjoyed the picnic but the beach wore me out. Went out to dinner with my parents to celebrate the end of school and Mitchell being an "official" high school student. He reminded me that he only has 4 years until he goes away to college.

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to Cyn and Col!

Good Night Tami, sleep well.

Thinking of Robert and his Father, at times It seems if it were not for bad luck, Robert would have no luck at all, right?

Nola, good to see you back, and you can just start commenting on the current age, what I do when I missed a lot.

Time for night time meds, then an early night for me. I dosed my way through a couple of TV shows with Al tonight, but still very sleepy.

Hugs to each of you, with extras.

Suzy, I hope you are now back on the internet! Glad to hear that you are getting some more teaching days! I hope all relationships (human and feline) in your home are going well!

Cyn, Rolanda, Bean, Broni, Gail and others experiencing cooler than normal temps, I hope they soon moderate!

Hi Viv, long time no see! Hope all is good in your neck of the woods...

Julie, it's always good to see you and I'm glad you haven't been trying to post on the older stuff - it's too much! It looks like your internet is a little more reliable now. Yay!

Tami, 4 years is a long time! Say it with me - 4 years is a loong time...

No news about Robert's dad - probably because it's 2.30am over there! duh!

We have been on the big excursion to the big smoke (well, bigger smoke than here, not the really big smoke) and splurged on Alie's birthday present. We've told her it is happy birthday, merry christmas as sweet 16!! She is very happy with her guitar, amp, microphone and leads (we got the amp a couple of months ago when Aldi had them for a great price). The only time she has stopped playing since we have been home is when she was looking for chords for a song!! I think she's happy..

Happy anniversary Cyn and Col.
We went to the circus this afternoon. Belinda got some tickets ages ago. Friend was not well enough to go but we then got extra tickets for the grandies from Melbourne. Belinda (with no children) has taken the three kids back to her place for the night. She does have lots of animals though.
It was just a small circus but good value with lots of acts, including animals. The animals looked well looked after and had a good relationship with the trainers. It has been running for 120 years in Australia.

Judy, she's not, she is 14 for a few more weeks, it's just that it's such a big birthday gift we figure it covers all of those events!!

Singing has improved her confidence so much that you couldn't bully her if you tried! But I still see the after effects in some things. She holds herself back a lot.

June, the circus sounds wonderful! I believe most animals are treated wonderfully in circuses and cruelty is the exception rather than the rule. Depending on your definition of cruelty of course.
