Just popping in! Sorry I missed you, Heidi! Sending cyber hugs to you! We all feel your pain. But in all the sadness, think of the happiness you gave Rain and she gave you while you were together!

Love and hugs to all of my SA9A friends! It will be more than a week until I can get here regularly, so please bear with me. I miss all of you and send positive vibes and prayers for anyone in need!
June, what a great way to find money in the budget to get your hair done - but Ken's yourself! I used to cut my hubby's hair. Now, we both go to my sister (a licensed beautician) - a two hour drive each way - about every 8 to 10 weeks. It's a good excuse to get together and share a meal afterward.
I hope you enjoy your new car, June, and Sharon enjoys her "new" car! Sounds like you've been busy cleaning! We need to get back to work here!
Heidi, I'm so glad you'll have a few days of peace and quiet with IH at the plant!
Suzy, I'm speechless at the nerve of Three and Younger's mother. She obviously has no friends she could call to help in the situation. UNBELIEVABLE! And was Ebob's nose truly broken? Sometimes it doesn't take much! Younger D had her nose broken when someone (an adult) threw a "throw" pillow from a couch at her in fun. Nom Nom is a darling kitten. They can be so much fun, as I suspect you are finding out.
Theresa, your daughter's injury sounds painful. All the best to her and lots of positive vibes and prayers for quick healing! How lucky she is that you're next door and can help with the girls and meals! It also sounds like you have some great neighbors in your area. Blessings to all! I hope you get some sleep while the girls are in school!
Cyn, I hope the wait for your car to be fixed goes by more quickly than you expect. What an inconvenience! Hopefully, it just means they are doing a very careful and thorough repair! I'll be sending some positive vibes and prayers for your MIL.
Tami, I hope you are feeling better, even though the cough is hanging around. I hope it soon leaves so you don't need to deal with it all through camp!

Gail, I hope you are having a great day!
June, sending prayers and positive vibes for your friend! I hope this round is successful and accomplishes its purpose!
Hi and Bye to vdV!
Victoria, I hope being busy at home and at work is a good thing!
Rolanda, thinking of you and your Mum! Sending positive thoughts and prayers!
MizT, I hope your hand is getting stronger and less sore!
My mind has gone and I can't remember anything else - except that I need to get out the muucav and eliminate as much dog hair as I can.
Hugs to all, including those I've missed. I hope to get back again sometime this week. Take care and get or stay healthy! I hope to see you soon!

RIP Rain.
Grandies are gone to their other grandmother until tomorrow. My daughter and I are going to order pizza for supper as both our hubbies will be late. Haven't had pizza yet this year I don't think.
Have to go for a second "squishy" thing on July 2. Also have to go for an ultrasound on the right side as the first "squishy" thing picked something up. What, me worry?????

The Vet agreed with me that there was nothing else we could do. Being old, she slept a lot, and while she slept her bladder emptied. She was spending most of her time in a pool of urine and besides the stench, she was getting nasty sores. She was determined to be exclusively a house dog, and that was an intolerable situation in the house. I may have only had Rain here for 6 months, but there have been few collies that I've loved as much as her. She was a wonderful dog.

It was probably something minor, Julie, like a bruise. I'm glad they're being thorough and checking it out more carefully. Try not to worry too much. The odds are in your favor.

Julie, I hope we find out what is keeping you away one day soon... well, in about a week.
Nola, yes, it's broken, but not badly - not squished across her face or anything. We are not allowed to touch it because it hurts too much.

Heidi, we were at Taekwondo waiting for Ally. Three would love to go to it and he and Ebob were messing around outside. The funny thing is that he has said he wants to do the contact version. I looked it up and you can join the 'Fight' group when you are a yellow belt, which is only one grading. I had told him that they probably don't let yellow belts go straight into full contact because you'd break someone's nose. Irony.

Jumping in without reading today. Busy day here, I was up and out to therapy this morning, then shopping for playdough and silly putty hehehe. I have been given a new therapy toy, a ball of putty to squeeze to strengthen grip. Ashely would sell me thier putty for $10, or I could go buy silly putty or play dough at the dollar store. I bought some of each, might have different resistance.
I have a lot to do and only 2 days to do it. First, finish putting up the canned goods from grocery shopping. Then make a menu and pack food for my day to cook on my sisters retreat. Pack, go buy bug spray and sun block. My 2 sisters and 2 of their daughters are ging away Thursday through Sunday, to the mountains of north Georgia. One sister has a vacation home there.
Catch you all later, time to go play with my silly putty and other therapy. Hugs, and hope to get back soon to read.

To make my day worse, IH called to say that he was returning this evening instead of tomorrow. I was enjoying the peace and quiet of an empty house, and watching some old theatrical cliffhanger serials. I just got 3 of them, all starring Clayton Moore before he starred as the Lone Ranger. Great diversions.

The second grade baseball team tied their game last week - 7 all. But they only got one hit. They did, however, get 14 walks!

Sounds like one of the games that Dylan played in. He was on a 9 yr old team, 3rd grade. His team was home. By the time he got to bat there had been 13 other batters (both teams) and he had the first hit. We had to laugh at the number of walks in that game. Dylan also had a team nickname. He was "Magnet" cause he got hit by the pitch more than any other player. He got hit twice in one game and his next at bat in the next game. He just shook them off and took his base. He did what he had to for the team.

Hi everyone.
Just finished packaging up my last lot of orders for Campaign 12 with Avon.
I sold $1,400 worth approx.
What a job.
Yesterday I went out bush and did an avon demo as I call it.
Put items on display, do a couple of make ups on people, talk about it all etc.
It was at a little country school. Only 30 pupils but they were away on an excursion and this was a bit of a get together day for some mums.
Only a small group, about 12 but it was lovely.
I got some orders which is always good after travelling that far and I got paid for going by the neighbourhood centre who organised it.

The morning tea was coffee or tea, caramel slice, jelly slice and little cream cakes.
For lunch they had a lovely casserole in the crockpot cooking and that was served on a bed of rice.
I sat at the teachers table and the rest of them sat on the little chairs and tables the kids usually sit at. Lol ehehehehh
I thoroughly enjoyed it, was there about 3 hours.
I may get a couple more to do in other little towns which will be good.
R.I.P. Rain.
Hope you are managing okay without your car CynB.
John goes to his specialist tomorrow to get the results from his latest x-ray.
I too have a doctors appt. in the morning.
To see how the thyroid is going and a few other things.

The family favourite here, chicken pieces, apple crumble for dessert.
I start rehearsals for this play I am in that is on in November next Monday night.
I only have a small part but am s***ing myself about it lol
Why oh why did I ever agree to do it I do not know as I have never ever done anything like this before.

IH is p*ssed off with me. It has been so bloody hot here the last 2 days, that I decided that I don't want Robert working outside in the heat of the day. Yesterday, I told him to go home at noon instead of doing some bush-hogging and weed whacking, IH saw that the work hadn't been done and got mad. I feel that if he wants the work done, he can do it himself. He doesn't pay Robert, I do. And I feel that his health and safety is more important than a few weeds that will still be there tomorrow.
