It seems that SA7 is getting old and slow. It is time for a new page. Welcome to SA8.

I am always pleased I have landed safely and not about to fly again for awhile when I hear of a plane crash. We have had 4 flights in the last 5 weeks. I feel for the families of all those in the Air France flight.
About all for me tonight. Till the morning.....Good Night.

I'm very tired this morning. I think the Confirmation tired me out. It was a very big group, 80 16 year olds were confirmed and the Bishop chatted with each one before he anointed them. I was surprised about how many kids I knew; half the kids from Bryana's nursery school class, all of the kids she went to school with at St. Mary's, half of her old soccer team, a bunch from her old jr. high school and a lot of siblings of Meghan, Brendan and Ian's friends. It was strange seeing so many people we knew because we've been removed from their circles since Bryana went away to school. It was very lovely.

Thoughts and prayers for those in the plane crash and their families!

As I've gotten older I've noticed I've become more fearful of these things. I think the plane is going to crash (after all, how can a huge hunk of metal float in the sky?), the roller coaster is going to go off the tracks or the tractor trailer is going to crash next to me. You would think it would be the opposite, rationally knowing the statistics. Oh well!

I always seem to get sick when I fly (the atmosphere inside those planes is a virus laden nightmare), so I prefer driving everywhere. And when I get to my destination, I have my own vehicle.
I once tried to go somewhere by boat. My luck..... the boat sank, and we were stranded on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean.... but only for 4 days. We were able to signal a passing boat.

HEIDI, remind me to not travel with you! what luck, having a boat sink from under you. Very lucky there was an island nearby. Now that sounds like a story goes with that incident, care to share some of the details?

Stella, I would not know about 3 word posts not going through, for some unknown reason, I have never tried it

Now the PTO on the big tractor won't work.
I know the problem is simple. All I need to do is push the reset button. But it's under, and up inside, the tractor, and I can never find it! I will have to get the mechanic to make a house call just to push a button.

Julie, I am not offended by your comments. I don't mind being singled out. I am usually careful but like all of us, oopsies happen. (not sure of the spelling so I made up my own)
CynB, I know I take a risk everytime I go for the BOPP. It is more fun taking the risk and not getting it.
Broni, welcome back! You have been missed.

We are dodging t storms again this afternoon. they were close enough to hear the thunder, loudly hear the thunder, for a while. The clouds and proximity of the rain did cool our temps a lot. House is very cool today, not having to overcome that sun.

Tomorrow morning I have a very early, before 8 am, appointment. Hopefully that will be the end of the paperwork, we will see. I did not know anyone but my doctor gave appointments before 8 am. Course it wold come when I have been sleepier mornings and tend to sleep later.

Time to fling food here, hamburger steak, baked potatoes and veggies, with strawberry and bananas for sweets. I even have the reduced fat whipped cream for them. Hubby will be pleased.

As you can probably tell, I am SO not here, just avoiding ffuts. Today is a thoroughly exciting day, as it is the day I clean the toilets, does it get any better than that? Also have to enter the forboding yrdnual room to feed the machines in there, and for some added pleasure I may, just may mind you, hsaw a floor or two. BUT I REFUSE TO USE THE SUCKY THING!

Rolanda, the excitement must be really building! Wish I could go to China! When you said "white stuff", for a second I thought you meant snow! Do you ever get snow in your area?

Gail, seeing that you are Cinderella anyway, do you mind coming here and doing my ffuts too?

Jill's baby is soooo cute! Glad she was able to find the time to post and put up a picture. It was driving me crazy not knowing!

Well, off to bed for me. Haven't figured out what to do for Meghan's 21st birthday tomorrow. Ian has school and soccer practice and the end of the year band picnic. I think he'll just have to skip practice and the picnic. Meghan wants to go to Red Robin for dinner. Maybe we'll go to a movie in the afternoon! Have a great day/night!

Good Afternoon SA8, hope you are all well.
Had a great time down at Tamworth, mainly sunny but the wind was cold. Our friend owns a farm there and he took me for a drive in his golf buggy around the paddocks.
Have taken Bella for a walk today, trimmed up a few palms and cleaned the kitchen (oops sorry for swearing)

Hi everyone! Haven't been spending as much time here lately - life seems to interfere!
Nice to hear about new babies and Happy Birthdays, nice things to balance the doom and gloom in the News.
The continuing saga of our carpets: they are on the floor. Whoo-hoo! But ... there are no edge bits, and there should be. Rob rang up and they said, "Oh, so sorry..." Haven't heard anything else. Will they come back and fix it, and if so, when? I wish Life really was like a box of chocolates - I could really do with some! ;)

Those carpet people sound TOTALLY incompetent! They don't show up on the days they say they will, now this! Have you told them that you will give your payment the same priority that they've given your job?

Good afternoon lovely people.
Bit of a slow day here - still on the same page from last night.
Heidi - trust you to get ship-wrecked, reminds me of a woman I once worked with who had been in two light plane crash/incidents, both with only minor injuries. How lucky can one person be?
I hear they've found some wreckage of the AF plane, not that much else could be expected.
Gail - what an exciting day!
Broni - glad your stay in Tamworth was good - hope the weather was better than up here this week.
Stella - You are like my sister - she never stops either. Now that she has retired, she had joined so many clubs and associations as well as guest-lecturing at a Uni once a month or so. If she has a 'lazy day', she feels guilty.
I don't but that's because -
Hello also to Julie, Judy, Tami, MizT, Rolanda, June, Suzy and Nola.
