I would have called it a heffalump too... I know that the proper term is pachyderm, but heffalump is so much more descriptive and fun

Good morning all. Hope everyone has a great day. Mine will be busy. Back to the orthodontist so Mitchell can pick up his retainer. We are then meeting my friend Shelley for lunch. Shelley has volunteered to address the envelopes for Mitchell's Bar Mitzvah invites. She can do calligraphy. She helped do my wedding invites also.

Good Maen SA8ers!! Supposed to be another hot day today, so far nice, have windows open. Feel like I got run over by a bus today...Slept like for the last 2 nights and my back and joints are bothering me too. Got ffuts to do in town today, may put it off until tomorrow. Need to see how I feel after a hot shower.

Brendan went down to NYC to see the Yankee game. I checked the tv to see if I could see him in the crowd. The crowd is way too big!

all. I can detect a slight sign of returning to life today. Very slight. I have to drag myself to the store to get more dog food. They need to eat. The bug has now moved into my throat and I cannot talk, and swallowing is quite painful. The novelty has worn off. I want this bug to go away.

I had a good lunch with my friend today. We came home for a few minutes and was supposed to meet one of hubby's friends. He ended up calling and cancelling so hubby took the boys to the pool and I have some quiet time.

Tami.. I don't have the energy to go to the Doctor.... she's a half hour drive away, and IH is out of town so he cannot drive me. And I'm not sick enough to warrant an ambulance. I'm just going to let it run it's course, with help from OTC drugs.

Bean, I found your story. It's a horrible story. Your link was to the Age, on the national news page there is a link to the WA Today story, but the attack happened in Melbourne??? Now some disabled people can be truly horrible, take for instance the 22 year old locally who has attacked and injured several people in respite centres (that made national news so you've probably heard about it), but for a grown woman to condone and encourage beating anyone, let alone someone who, if in fact horrible, is not responsible for her actions is depressing.

Vici, you and Bean can't be trouble with a capital "T", that is already taken by me. You can be trouble with a small "t" though.

Em (D#2) ran out of money while out in Canada, so I put some money in her account yesterday to make sure she had some money in case she needed anything. She has been out today and bought clothes She doesn't need anymore clothes.

Some good news of my friend. Her daughter texted me this morning to say that she is being moved to a normal ward tomorrow and that we can go and visit her, in fact she would welcome us as she can now talk. I'll probably go in tomorrow evening.

I am not really here, hubby and I are just taking a break from moving mulch again. Not much left of this load, then we will need to get more to 'colour' in the old beds, top them so they look bright and orange instead of very weathered grey.
Just tols hubby to take the camera down with us so we can get a few photos of the newly vamped area.

I'm here... hopefully the connection will last long enough to play a few games and catch up on the news!

Hi, fellow Sudokuaholics! It's 10 minutes to 1 a.m. here - my first chance to visit today. Still have NO time to read comments. Life is crazy here (guess it's a good thing I had to cancel my physical therapy appointments), as it is for many of you.
