Birthday greetings to the many that I seem to have missed...so sorry to be late, but wishes are just as meaningful.
Get well wishes are still going out to all who are suffering in any way.
I am so happy to be able to say that not only have I used the spinney thing four times, and the tumble thing just as often...but miracle of miracles, I've also used the hot slidey thing until all was done...and then put everything away...Wow!!!! I've had it.
Yesterday it was the garage that got cleaned and trash put out....I'm just getting too organized for my own good!!!!LOL
Brenda...I am so happy that your friend is on the long road to recovery...great...and for all who have blogs...please send me the links so that I can enjoy them too...
Oh, Heidi..BTW, I have found the Wasabi nuts like you had in Florida, at the farmers stand around the corner from me...boy am I a happy camper...
Have a great birthday outing Gail and treat Scott well...if ya get my drift....
TTT, The affair well be lovely and you will forget all of the trouble you are now going through. When doing stuff for the kids that we want to be really special is.... well...its sorta like giving birth isn't it????

Hi all - back from my visit to Mum - all went well but she's not too good on her feet today. It's very sad, this woman used to walk daily and as she never learnt to drive, she walked everywhere.

Heidi - hopefully you'll read this tomorrow. I meant to tell you this yesterday. It's probably too late now that you've had to sell your sheep and it works on foxes but whether it would work on coy-dogs I don't know. We have a program on TV here called The New Inventors where inventors get to show their product. This week was one called a 'Foxlight' which is -
'A lighting device placed near animals in danger of being attacked by foxes. A series of lights inside the device gives the impression of movement at night time keeping the foxes away from lambs, goats, free range hens and other vulnerable animals.'
I will post a link and you will find a website on that link. Sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm just getting ready to go and visit my friend in hospital. It is 2 weeks since we paid the quick visit for her to sign some papers. I'm expecting to see some vast improvements. Especially asshe is now trachae free.

I am definitely feeling better. I just did something I shouldn't have. I bought another Gouldian Finch. This one is a color that I don't have... it's called a pastel blue. I'll try to post a picture of him. I'm off to the Post Office to send my airline box to the seller in Connecticut.

Greg and I,the 2 kids,their spouses and the 5 grandkids all had take away pizza for tea last night.It was lovely to all be together.
The boys want to camp out in the backyard this week-end for something different.I think it is too cold but, what ever.

Just stopped by for a quickie. My Assistant Principal called me today and told me that I was being moved to 7th grade. Our rooms are all grouped by grade level. I got lucky. I am only a few doors away from the split between 6 and 7 grades so I will keep my room. That means all my work from last week will not have to be undone. Had a great day with my niece and SIL. I will catch up on reading later. Gotta fling food.

Judy, you can only hope that a friend of your D can "suggest" a different approach to the makeup or offer to help. Do you have stores in shopping malls that will do a complimentary "makeover?" Of course, they hope you will buy some of their product, but it isn't required. Maybe that will help? I'm glad you found your stamp albums!

Heidi, I'm glad you're feeling better, and hope you continue to mend! Will IH ever learn that he REALLY SHOULDN'T use your tractor? Inevitably, he breaks something. Maybe your mechanic can hook up something that will give IH a shock if he tries to get in the tractor?

IH is now complaining that we're having too much weed growth in the pasture since the sheep left. And he's annoyed that my tractor isn't here to use to clip the pastures. I reminded him that he broke my tractor. He left the room.
