I'm not sure how much time I'll have to visit these pages in the next few days. Before I go for the night, I want to take a moment to wish everyone who celebrates these holidays a wonderfully Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year. For all who visit Sudokuland, whether you celebrate the holidays or not, I would like to wish you days full of peace, love and happiness. Treasure each day as the year comes to an end.

Well I've just finished making the rum balls(boy did they taste good - Had to make sure they were OK for everyone else) & the Ice Cream Pudding & thought I'd just drop in to wish EVERYONE a very Merry Christmas & a Happy & prosperous New Year. S2 & his family are due tomorrow night, so not sure if I'll have time to pop in again before Christmas - so once again, Have a great Holiday

Good morning all! Just popping in briefly. Loads of ffuts to do and off to the ortho surgeon for a consult on my shoulder.

My in-laws arrived safely Sat night in between the two storms. It was a good thing we went to Mass Sat vigil because the snow that was supposed to start at 10am, started at 4am! We got another 10 inches on top of the foot we got on Friday. We didn't leave the house all day!

When things are less hectic, I'll put up some pics!

Brekky at home is always MYO - make your own.
Lunch typically is a huge smorgasboard - probably 20-30 different hot dishes / salads on the table followed by seafood then about 8 desserts.
Dinner - the same.
BUT, this is always a big family affair with at least 8 women cooking. The men don't do much more than set up tables etc and open their own stubbies!!

I finally bought a big LCD TV today, spending the day in the city shopping with the kids. Since the money that the government gave out last week to families was meant to be spent to keep the economy moving, I did my share, spending just over half of it. The rest will go to a low unit to stand it on, then I'm thinking about a PVR, but don't know much about them.

I finally finished my shopping,all except for D1 whom I wont be seeing until the new year.Now I just have to wrap them.Leaving it very late I know.
On my way shopping yesterday,a bloke run up the back of me.I got out of the car thinking the worst but luckily no real damage was done.Just gave me a fright and I nearly went back home but HAD to shop as am working up until 10pm xmas eve.The guy came around late that afternoon to check out the car as he is a panel beater hehe his car was worse than mine though.

Not a lot going on here today. We are not as cold as the states further north, but we are cold for us. I just discovered I had hot water that was freezing, that bathroom sick that was always freezing. I need to see if the underpinning there is intact, or has some animal pushed it in? North wind, north facing part of the house and if no underpinning yep, might expalin it sure 'nuff.

Ooooooooo ..... hot water should NOT be freezing! Is the hot water heater working?

It got down to 4 F ( -15 C) last night, but it's "warmed" up to 24 F ( -4 C). The good thing about Kentucky is that this'll only last a few days.

MizT... you might want to wrap the pipes for that "sick".

Good morning lovely SA7 people - I've been MIA for the last few days, had my sons girls overnight - nobody told me that 3 girls, including a 3yo, are 10 times times the effort of two kids.
