We've just been to watch the fireworks, home now to throw confetti everywhere..

We are also having a quiet night at home. Nice to be just the two of us. We will try and keep awake till Midnight, and do not have anything planned for tomorrow either.

The last doy of the year dawned crisp and sunny, with the sun warming things up quickly. A lovely day. I am washing towels to hang out! It is 47*F on it's way to a forecast 50, and I do believe it will be higher than that. Humidity only 57% and a breeze, towels should dry today!

Al and I have to go to town today. He needs to look at a job for a friend he does work for on occasion. She has some rental houses and when they need repairs, she calls Al. Today is just a look see, let her know what needs doing and get an OK to get materials and get started Friday.

He wants to go to the court house, I am not sure if they will be open today, but it is in that general direction, we go close enough to check it out. I need to get Tag for mobile home (the way taxes are collected on a mobile and it is no longer a real tag as it once was, but a sticker) and get my handicapped parking tag also. Doc agreed it would be OK for the days I just cannot walk so far, the days I now stay home instead of going out.

everybody! it's nice to be back. i have only read a little bit- i don't think i have the energy to read it all!! sounds like there have been a few sickies and some on the mend. hope all get better and better.

i got a web cam for christmas. i'm not sure how to get it started and feel too lazy to just jump into it. i need to call UPS and chew them out for not rerouting our packages, return a couple of broken and unwanted gifts, finish unpacking, clean, and try to figure out the best way to party with the kids tonight. what i really want to do is read my book, with a very festive diet coke .

Just had some visitors..... they came to see the critters, and brought home baked dog treats! Even Bonnie liked them, and Bonnie doesn't like anything.

Hello, SA7! I hope everyone is having a good day/arvo/night!

I'm just popping in for the first time in a week or more - been visiting out-of-state and first chance to hit the pooter! It sounds as if MOST of you had a good Christmas. Wanted to say to you all before it's too late. It is after 1 pm here and has been snowing since about 8:30 am STEADILY, so about 3 inches so far and snow predicted to continue into or through the night. YUCK! We will have to clear the long, uphill driveway, as we're currently dog-sitting the "grand-dogs" and will need to pick up the returning family early next week. We have food, milk and orange juice to last a few days, so won't even venture out to clear the snow until tomorrow.

Thinking of all those who aren't feeling up to "snuff" and those dealing with ill relatives. Gail, hope you had a safe trip and your Mum is doing better!

my hubby loved the jc penny's dog house commercial so much that he got me a thigh master as a joke!!! he made up for it by also getting a beautiful necklace for me. of course i pointed it out and said, "this is what i want." how could he not??

Broni and Brenda, thank you, thank you for the news about Rayray! Being out of the hospital is wonderful news. It's too bad he is without a computer. I guess his is NOT a laptop.
