It was OK CynB, the computer may have been on, or Sharon was using it but I was not around.
That semi that whissed passed you might have been the same one that blasted me the night before. Probably about the time it would have taken him to get up there!

I am just about pulling my hair out. I am convinced Ken has a DVT and have packed his bags to take him to emergency but he refuses to go. Sharon was at him as well today.
Ken did see the Doctor about it yesterday and he said it was a cramp from not getting about as much since he has not been well.
Today it is now red and swollen and the anteinflamitary cream the Dr. gave him is doing nothing. Ken said he will see how it is in the morning. I told him that might be too late!

Have a wonderful time at the wedding Gail.

We also have the cool change and it will be a better day tomorrow. I think it got to over 40*c again today. I kept inside being entertained by Laura. They were here because our house is cooler.

June, so glad that Sharon and Laura have your cooler house to visit when it gets so very hot there. I do hope that Ken's problem can be resolved quickly. Men who will not go to ER, I know what that is like! Prayers that all turns out well.

No windows open for me today, I would get wet! We have rain, widespread, overnight gentle rain. It will continue to cool as yet another cold front comes through, but nothing as cold as the one we had earlier!

Hopefully our handyman can still do a repair under house. We have a water leak, drip drip drip. He and Al also have to look at one of the rental houses Al helps maintain. An electrical problem that Al cannot solve, strange things happening. Handy man is more knowledgeable about strange electrical problem.

I can make us another page and see if it will help, but would prefer to wait till Gath is going to be around. We need him to close out the old page and put a link to the new one. It could be too confusing if there were 2 active pages and posts on both.

HEIDI, would you Please PM me when your smilies are approved? we would know he is back then.

June, my huge support goes to you and Ken. Let it not be a DVT, please Lord.
May he see the sense of the smart women around him who have nothing but his good health in mind.

Good Maen SA7ers!
Gail - those sketches were wonderful...amazing - I have never been able to draw worth a darn.
MzT - hope your leak gets fixed up. Sounds like water leaking around here with all the glorious rain we've had over the last 3 days. Now if it would just get colder and turn to snow!

Cyn - thanks for that fabulous Aussie feast! A lot of things I haven't seen before...and certainly haven't eaten. Someday, hopefully!
mariana - I got an ipod touch about 3 weeks ago and have been having such a blast with it. I have weather and time set up for all over the globe. Did you download the free penguin catapult application? It's a hoot and a half!

Good morning everyone.
We have had rain, rain and more rain.Cannot get to the septic yet as the trench is full of water.
Luckily we have a toilet in the ensuite.
Have to work this long week-end but have holidays coming up mid Feb and can't wait.
The humidity is awful,sometimes 90%.
Thanks Vici for the Aust.Day wishes!

Vici, when you asked Laura about the closet (walk in wardrobe) she did not know what you meant. We did spent some time in there yesterday even though it was hot a bit claustrophobic.
We also made sausage rolls and cut up old Christmas cards.

Stella/cynB my brother had a similar problem with an ex wife turning children against him. It took until my father's funeral 10 yrs ago for his children to learn some truths about their mother. since then his kids have (who are adults aged 36 and 33 now) been close to him. It back fired on the ex as the kids paid little attention to her after that.
I just hope that in your brothers' cases this happens sooner.

I suppose I should go and fling food. Having a late lunch as we are going out tonight as a family to a quiz at a school where our friend's kids attend. Unfortunately it will not be all fun for us as we are the ones compiling the quiz and making sure that it all runs smoothly. I get to do the scoreboard.

June - I thought Laura was a hoot - especially with the sunscreen...and you are an awesome Granny getting into the "wardrobe" with her again yesterday.
Brenda - wonderful that you are up on skype now! Our family had a wonderful time with it on Christmas...getting us all together when we wouldn't have been otherwise.
