Mary, had Robert to help me with the avatars in the end, I was finding it a bit hard on my own.
He showed me on last sunday how to get the photos from the new camera to the computer.. now I just need him to help me with flikr etc...
At least I do know how to get the pictures and you tube on to my page - I'm not completely hopeless

Hi Mary, I saw your comment on the easy page, so just had to come & listen to some Moody Blues. Great choice of YouTube, great song. They look very young in this clip - I have a DVD of them at the Albert Hall in London about 6 years ago, & they are definitely a bit older!!

Hello Mary - I'm a bit bored at work and saw you posting on easy so popped in to say hello.
How are things going? I had a busy weekend painting and hope to do a lot more this weekend and try to get it finished. It seems to be dragging on because I had a few weeks without doing any.

Just read your post on easy today re acting like 2yr olds. You are so right and I haven't even read all the posts yet! There is obviously NO elitism in this community. I have never felt such a warm sense of well-being just talking to like-minded people. This should most deninitely be a no sooks site.

Hi Mary! The book I was talking about on SA2 was 'A Thousand Splendid Suns.' It's by the same author who wrote 'Kite Runner.' My oldest daughter read it Friday afternoon and loved it. Then my youngest daughter read it Friday night and loved it. Mamacita and a few others are reading it or have read it and everyone seems to love it. But it is very sad! Hope you have a great day! Stop by the SA2 page more often. I know it's hard, but it's nice to chat with people. BTW, I loved your video!

Yes Mary, I did drink from the waters of the Nile (or so I was told) when they (the Egyptian Army officers) handed around the glasses. I can assure you that I was just as apprehensive as you might imagine. But I had no choice, it would have been impolite not to have drunk the glass and our hosts were watching carefully.
Surprisingly, I had no ill-effects whatsoever. Phew!!!

I forgot to ask you to send your son here for a visit... you and Rola have these talented kids around to help you solve your computer problems, and I am sooooooooo envious. Mind live to far away to be of any help...so I'm lucky folks like you give me ideas when I have a problem. I finally had to use tech supoort to straighten out my problems, but things look pretty good for now! Thanks for trying to help me out.
