appy, your new YouTube is just great. As I said on the 'Easy' page, pity it ends in a series of 'messy landings'. It could be a bit upsetting for the travelling public. Fortunately though, these things are quite rare.

Agree with everyone else about the youtube appy. Was incredible right up until the last bit! Fortunately the last couple of minutes wouldn't load so I only got to see three of the disastrous moments.

I was devastated to hear of all the bombings taking place lately in India, including the bomb almost in the heart of old Delhi in the Connaught Place today. I do hope this sectarian violence has come close to your home and your loved ones. Take care my friend!

Appy: I am actually really pleased you replied to my comments about the North Indian atrocities. I assure you I am a very pacific sort of person and hate any kind of violence. For the most part my concepts about the Kasmiri dispute are weighted by a strong friendship with a Pakistani; and of course his views are probably rather different from yours, and also at odds with much that is published in the media. I have forwarded, to him, the article you made available through the link, and I have asked to him to explain some of his views (which are definitely not those of a 'terrorist' so I can become better aware of his Pakistani view of this incident. I have no motive of stirring up a hornets nest - only trying to understand the differences there are in the issue for positive reasons and towards reconciliatory progress. I hope you understand that.

You and I have been dropping in on one another for a few years now. Though you may not celebrate Christmas I thought I'd drop in anyway...

I guess that while we swelter in Darwin you will swelter just as much in India so the cordial might be just what you need. I subsituted some limes this year and it's really yummy and tangy.


Here’s the traditional

LEMON CORDIAL
Ingredients:
Juice of 7 large lemons
Grated rind of 5 large lemons
1 kg sugar
1.25 litres of water
25g citric acid
Method:
1.In a large pan, boil up sugar, water, grated peel and citric acid.
2.Take off and add juice, If preferred, this may be strained.
3.Bottle whilst still hot into clean, sterilised (in oven) bottles

Mix it with gin and soda if you want an alcoholic drink. But whatever and where ever, may it be a lovely celebration for you.
