Thanks for clarifying the photo! I come from ski country and with the trees all around it didn't make sense to me! But as I now look closer, I saw that they were indeed cable cars. Must be a pretty sight at the top!

Hi Appy, the food they are cooking, you say it is spicy, is it spicy 'hot' and does it look like a huge pancake? Is it deep fried?
I took a tour of your pictures and found them most interesting. Thank you for sharing it with us.

appy: Sorry I couldn't use a condolence from you in the hard copy tribute. You were away, and next time Peter (Lynda's husband) E-Mails, in my reply I shall explain it to him. The tribute was a collective thing and the fact you express approval of it means you are included in spirit.

Hello Anu - a very big
from Amanda, Wayne, Johnathan and myself for your good wishes on the birth of their son and my grandson, Bailey.
Yes, he is a big boy, a couple of pounds heavier than what Johnathan was. He's doing very well.

Hi Anu.
It has been quite a while since I stopped in to visit you. I didn't spend as much time on the computer as I used to. I went through your photos and I'd like to say that your trek was an good accomplishment. I sure it was tiring and rewarding. I left a comment on your temple photo for you to consider. Hope all is well with you and yours. Cheers!

These pups were snapped in a london bylanes, as we were exploring the streets by walk looking for some particular item to be purchased.I was astound at the cool behavior of these creatures.look at the expession as I went closer to snap them, (was sure that they cant pounce beyond the length of the leash ..)

Golly, Anu they look like they've always done this thing called parking. Kind of like the same expression my hubby has when he sits out in the car rather than coming into the shop with me!

I enjoyed watching your trek into the jungle. From years of experience on many multi day wilderness treks, may I give you some advice. Foot wear; open toed shoes or sandals are an accidental sore toe or foot waiting to happen. Sturdy hiking shoes or boots with ankle protection are a must regardless of the terrain or length of the trek. Consider the prospect of hiking two or three hours back into an area, hurting yourself badly and then having that far to get back with a bad sprain, cut or even broken toe. That would spoil the whole day and bad things do happen at the worst possible times.

Hi appy. thanks for the birthday wishes on June 26, but it was my daughter's 13th birthday, not mine. Yikes, imagine 2 birthdays a year! Not once you're out of your 20s!!

Thank you for that WWII POW Monopoly story. I had to gather my "kids" (ages 20, 18 and 8) around and read it to them. Now that I'm at your site, I'm glad to "meet you." Indian cuisine is my favorite "ethnic" food. I've been drinking rose water-flavored lassi quite a lot this week. I'm waiting for the apricots and tomatoes to get ripe so I can make my favorite fruit chutney recipe. My cilantro seed was old and didn't germinate this year, so I will have to buy cilantro to make the ever-popular cilantro sauce.
I've been appreciating all your postings, but this monopoly one brought me here to thank you specifically.

Hi Anu.
It was most interesting reading the comments you posted about Waddington's. Did you find this information on the Internet or is there a book with more detail that you could refer me to read? I would like to know more about this whole initiative. Thanks in advance!

By the way, I quite enjoyed the clip form the Goddard movie that you posted. I never saw this film, but I can see why this scene would have excited Tarantino. It is definitely his style as well. Thanks!

Jaz is returning to Oz any minute. Her flight for Melb left LA last night. I have not been paying attention to the site. Have you emigrated or just taking extended holiday with your son who I believe has been living in the States for many years? I have not been in Massachusetts for over 15 years now, wow. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Hi Appy, I just looked at your photos they are really nice. I have been hit and miss on the site lately and noticed that you were showing from Burlington MA but it didn't completely register until you mentioned your Rhode Island photos. Are you in the US for a vacation or longer stay?
