Ouima, no really the honor was and is mine to have met you! I remember reading your posts, thinking what a magnificent lady the writer was and how I would love to meet her. You always came across as a dignified lady with great compassion. I always thought "Wow, wonder if I could be friends with her?" After meeting you, the experience only proved to me how true my first impressions of you were. But the most wonderful part was the fact that you are sooooo much fun to be around! Let's do it again!

Mama, thank you for asking about Wendy. Just thought I'd drop in here with a quick note to fill you in.
We had lunch together yesterday and she looks great. She had been feeling self-conscious about the op wound, but it is healing well and just looks like a nasty cat scratch on her neck. The surgeon has followed her natural neck lines so it will hardly be noticeable when fully healed.
Here's hoping she has no more scares in the future.

Hi Mama, the place we chose Indi from has a policy never to put a healthy dog to sleep, so she would have found a home somewhere eventually.
My youngest daughter had her eye on a German short haired pointer, but it was Indi we went to look at so we looked at her first. Indi won Emily over by giving her a 'kiss' when she first met Em.

Listening to President Obama's Inaugural Address again is a reminder to me how happy (and, in all honesty, relieved) I feel every time I hear him speak. What an impressive man he is! Mamacita, thank you so very much for taking a few moments to visit my page and look through my photos. I am very much the proud mother, and my oldest daughter loves it at Penn State. Enjoy your wedding, we just attended one this past weekend, one of our nephews on my husband's side. We got the photographer to get a picture of our family, my goodness it was very impressive and we were still missing a few! I am trying very hard to enjoy the life that I have been given, I hope you continue to do the same!

Mama - I got to the site for the first time in a LONG time (maybe weeks) - it was great to see a post from you. I hope things are going well. Enjoy your wedding - we were at my nephew's wedding last weekend (another Jamie in the family now!!). They are such joyous occasions.
I have already had three or four job offers in the last two weeks - one of them VERY tempting. The school wants me to drop down to 8th grade and teach the course I have been teaching here at the high school. I sent them some fairly serious ($$) conditions, so I doubt they will take me up on it. I would only be teaching one or two periods. I will post something on Easy if/when they let me know.
