I just have to put you on a new page Ouima! How are you doing young lady? I miss your wise and wonderful comments on the site, although I have noticed you still keep your nose in there and speak up occasionally. I hope all goes well in your world my friend.

Sure, Mama, you can borrow Mr P. But I really think you need the empathy of one who has similarly suffered - so, how about I come and look after you?

I came here to thank you for your birthday wishes and instead found myself reading your tribute to Sully - what a lovely 'letter' to him you have written - he would be proud and happy to read it. The first anniversary is always the hardest so be especially kind to yourself. Remember the sudoku family has long arms that stretch right round the world. See you soon xx

Mamacita, your words are a tribute to someone who was certainly a treasure on earth! Your words are an inspiration to all of us who have loved, are in love and loved in return! I hope you don't mind, but I have printed this out with the intent to share it with my husband, who is also a strong, good man. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and all of us who are fortunate enough to know you. And may God continue to bless you and your family as your husband would have wanted.

Take care and be well,
Aimee

I must add that I hope I am able to do with my family as you seem to have been able to do with Sully and yours. Not difficult to achieve but very easy to miss the opportunities to tell each other how important we (us) are. I cannot agree more with "What a great blessing it is to know that we made each other happy and we told each other that we were."

Ouima, what a wonderful opening of your heart in this message for Sully that you posted. I know Sully will have heard this as you were writing it and smiled. God bless you for the love you continue to have and to show.

Dearest Ouima,
You are in my thoughts and prayers this week. What a wonderful outpouring of feeling, straight from the heart. Sully is up there smiling down on you and wishing you to smile with him. He knows that you are doing your best to remember the good times and move past the grief. Take Care, I Care.
With much love, Angie.

I am blessed to 'know' you, and through you, your family.
You were in my thoughts as I knew the day was coming. It will be particularly poignant for me as Sully's anniversary is the day after my mother's birthday, the first since she has been gone.
I can only hope that in the coming years, my husband and I will continue to know the love that you shared with Sully.
Bless you Mama.

Dearest Mamacita, for some reason you kept popping into my mind last week, and now I know why! It hardly seems a year since your beloved Sully has gone home to God, but I can only imagine how many moments in each day you think of him with thanks for the blessed years you had together. While I know your loss has been great, I'm sure your memories are greater and that you recall shared times with laughter, tenderness and always, love. I will keep you in my prayers this week, that you receive affection and comfort from those near to you, and that somehow, you also feel warmth from those of us who are close in spirit.

Mama, you have such a way with words, a way I will never have. I knew this first anniversary was approaching and had it in my mind to look here to check. I have found your letter to Sully. Even though you are apart from him you are never truelly away from him as you have such good memories,
Take care.

Dear Mamacita, what beautiful feelings you have crafted into words! Your letter is not only a tribute to your husband, but to yourself, your family, and to Love. We should all be so fortunate to have what you have, and - just as importantly - to realize it! Thank you for the lesson. My thoughts will be with you.

What a blessing to have had someone so wonderful in your life -- and for Sully to have had you in his. That special relationship you had whilst raising your family is a great legacy for your children and grandchildren. Your poignant tribute is as beautiful as you are.

Ouima, very many thanks for your birthday wishes. I hadn't realised that my birthday coincided with the anniversary of Sully's passing and I'm truly sorry that this date, which is a happy one in my life, is such a painful one in yours. I do hope that everything goes well for you. With love, Ian.

Mamacita... Thanks for thinking of me and the note on my page (a while ago now) I did accept the friend request but was far too rude and did not write back (computers do that to us you know). Hope all is well in the land of Mama. I am around but back to my side sitting ways for a while. You neven know when the Penguin will pop up again!
