I had a great day, even though I had to work I got through that, and a lovely evening spent with my family. I received lots of lovely presents and cards and sudoku wishes, so all in all it was a very nice day.

Hi Jaz. Having visted your wonderful country & met some of the warm caring people who live there (like you!), I think I am able to empathize with the deep sorrow the Aussies are feeling better than many of the Sudoku folks who have not been there. The bell ringing & memorial service must have been so heart wrenching. Since you have worked with the Red Cross I wonder if you would tell me if you think that would be the best place for me to send a donation? I still have not sent anything, but I definitely want to. My friend asked me if I wanted to go to an Il Divo concert in June, but I told her I would rather spend the money on a donation rather than a concert. I also bookmarked a website Bean (I think?) mentioned on Easy that was accepting donations for helping animals who lost their homes, too. Please send me your suggestions of what I could do to help the most. Thank you.
