Gday Chalkboard, I can't believe I've visited your page before, but rudely didn't leave my calling card. How remiss of me. The big bonus of coming today is that I get to push you onto page 3!

Chalkboard, my husband has a shirt but is trying to find a new hat. The stores down here, outside Ft. Lauderdale, don't seem to carry much for USF. I can find all I want for UM, UF, and FSU. We don't root for any of those teams on a regular basis. I only root for the Dolphins. I am not into college sports for some reason. I am sure that will change in about 8 years when my oldest goes to college.

Greetings, it has been quite awhile since we crossed quills. Just last week, the local paper put out their annual 'achievment addition' and who do you suppose was featured in the Ag. section? Dwaine Waite and his wife outside a corral of herefords. He is a grandson and has continued the operation but at a different location. I had no idea. As soon as I saw that artical, I remembered our visit about that. Just thought you'd be interested.

Chalkboard, I do not know if what I said was misinterpreted or if I expressed myself poorly...Let me try to rephrase it: I always thought that Florida was the best place to be living with great weather all year around. I did not think your morning would be that chilly. We had the worst winter in 37 years and finally the snow is nearly all gone. Yes, I spend a lot of time sitting in my backyard and it was up to 23oC. We were sitting outside until 9 this evening...It has given me a new life. I hope I did not say anything to hurt your feelings.

I also realize that it is my first time visiting you and I admired your beautiful quilt. I love the colors and know how much work has been put into it. Superbe!

I am a retired teacher also and enjoy Sudokuland very much. Hope to hear from you again soon. I intend to take time to look at your pictures on Flickr after I send this message to you.

Chalkboard for your quick answer, I understand greatly what you mean by expecting better weather than that where you live. So many canadians spend all winter in Florida. Our neigbours came back last week with their fifth wheel and they emailed me quite a few times from their campground in Florida. I found that they were blest to have missed all that snow we had. It sure is far from Massachusset to where you are now. Whishing you a great weekend with lots of warm weather.

Umm, as much as I would love to meet Jano, yourself and all the others who may attend, I think I may have some trouble getting a passport in time and raising the funds!
Really wish I could be there though, as much as I wished you could all be at the gathering I had at my place on Saturday in honour of Broni from Brisbane's visit to Melbourne. A great time was had by all and there is a wongerful group photo on my page.

I will post the sudokuworld vote tally probably Tuesday morning so everyone can see how they helped. You can only cast one vote per computer. If you have access to others, each can be used. Get you friends and neighbors involved too. CG got several more that way.

Thank you for visiting my site and for the information about the quilt. My dream is to be able to sew much more that what I am doing now....which is nil except in my head. I love fabric, colors, patterns, and so on. I will look into your info as I would like to do something for my daughter's wedding in April 2009. She loves tulips and her favorite color is yellow. It has to be nice and simple as I am still working full time. I was thinking of applique... I'll check if I can combine stack and whack...or else. Thanks again.

Hello, Chalkboard. Today is the first time I noticed you posting, though I see from the comments you have been on the site for some time. I like to say hello to all the Floridians on the site.

I just returned from watching the Shuttle launch, which I watched with CeeCee/Cindy. Her Granddaughter is starting to move from infant stage into the baby stage, and giggled a bit for me when I met her! I posted a photo of the launch in my sudoku gallery.

I have a quilt that is over 100 years old, my late wife's grandmother made it. We used it for a long time when we first got married. It was still in pretty good shape the last time I looked at it!

Look at the time, I should go to bed....
