Hello Dave - thank you for visiting my page and your comment about my posting. It seemed most appropriate and I had just received it in an e'mail at work.
I'm glad you enjoyed your little stroll on the beach in Albany and your drive down the country road in Denmark. They are both very pretty places and I'm lucky to live in such a beautiful spot.
I don't go visiting people's pages enough so it's nice coming in to say "hello" to an old friend on the site.
Cheers
Anne

Just wanted to drop and in say Hi and wish you well, A wonderful fall day here -- will be a warm weekend and the kids are off school for 5 days -- A horse faire will be going on Sunday that I always enjoy going to. I hope you are also enjoying your days -- Mary - who had the best pulled pork sandwich last week - so I treated myself again for lunch - after a great morning of bowling....

Gee Dave how remiss of me I ask you to be my friend and I haven't even visited your page. Though I'm sure I've seen the photo of you and Linda with the cactus before, how do they tell the age of a cactus is it the same as trees. I'm leaving you some
and
also some
for Linda

Hi Dave....can't believe I haven't dropped in to see you before....I certainly use up enough of our monthly allocation trotting round the world visiting people....Google maps should be on my fast dial!!
Glad Greg's 'Friends Drive' paid off....a bit different to a lamington drive...do you have lamington drives over there? The fact that lamington isn't being rcognised by Firefox makes me think not.
How are you on Ozzie geography with all your new friends....to help you out...

How nice to get home from hunting and gathering and find a message from you. I'm having a coffee / sudoku break while I summon up the energy to put away what I'm not about to cook for dinner tonight.
Lamingtons where my fathers favourite cake and also one of mine. They are commonly used in fund raising drives...packaged in a packet of 6 and hopefully sold for a profit. Nothing beats a good home made one and I promise to make you a batch if you ever make it to Melbourne.
Glad you enjoyed meeting my friends...they are all friendly...particularly the ones with 4 legs.
I keep thinking I should change the video but I like it too much. Not sure if there is anything much that can be said to Georges credit except he has been a fountain of material for good jokes.....pity it has been at the expense of the whole planet!!! Ciao for now.

Hello Dave - Thank you for being my "friend" and thank you for the nice compliment on my house. I live an hour north of Detroit. (about 50 miles) I am west of Pontiac. We have dreams of moving to SW Virginia, but are trying to wait for the economy to pick up.
I hope you have a great day!

Hey, Dave, thanks for the comment on the picture. I had a choice of two pictures: one with Jaime shading his eyes from the sun or one where my hair was covering my face (it was very windy). I know, I know, I picked the wrong one!!!

You're right, Dave. This country is particularly blessed with having so many different beautiful areas. Being a water person, I never thought I would enjoy the desert, but I really enjoyed visiting my mother in Phoenix the 15 years she lived there. I have to admit, the desert sunsets are equal to our sunrises over the ocean in terms of beauty! And, of course, you also spend part of your year in another lovely party of the country. We are both very, very lucky people!!

Dave - it's been busy. Mom is fine, however my only aunt (father's twin brother) 88 years old was evacuated Saturday morning. Mom's minister, the church caretaker & another member of the congregation (of the church I was raised in) lost everything. They only got out with the clothes on their back. It is a very small congregation & passed the plate to help. Amazingly they collected $3K Sunday to assist them a thousand dollars for each, till aid from Insurance & FEMA kick in.

Hi Dave - Thanks for stopping by to look at my snow pictures! I like to look at it, but I sure don't like to drive in it. Our county road comission has "cut-back" this year and we have had some very slippery roads so far. I think it is going to be a lonnnnggggg winter! Enjoy your sunshine!!!

Dave,
Thanks for your birthday wishes.
I fully understand your "senior moment" when you left the computer then forgot to post. Those kind of moments happen to me so often that gradually the times I forget are becoming the continuous norm, and remembering happens at only occasional "moments".
[Atually I'm not really that bad - yet!!)
