JERRY, saw your turkey recipe on site but since the page has turned, a bit late for a comment there. Could you check your physics on that one? Yep, popcorn might blow the door open, if the a$$ end is facing the door, but such rapid exit of cavity contents would not blow the turkey out of the oven!

Hi Jerry, I have to disagree with you on your sweeping generalization that the fall of the mortgage market was due to the Democrats. The Democrats sure did have a hand in the whole process but if you take a look a this link regarding Phil Gramm, you will see that his bill attached at the last minute to another bill is believed to be the catalyst that caused the deregulation and opened the door for the abuse of the system. It is a very complicated issue that really began back in 1977. I did quite a bit of research during the election and found some very interesting things. Hey Jerry--I have to add my 2 cents in on the leg cramp issue. Apparently only my high school coach and I know this, but when a leg cramp occurs, lightly pinch the area under your nose and upper lip. Just a few seconds.
Had really bad leg cramps in athletics and now that I am in this condition, where leg cramps are plentiful, I still use this method. Recently learned it is also good when your arms cramp up too.

Thank you for the run down of a teacher's role! There are very few things that aren't applicable here in Australia! Every time we turn around someone desperate to achieve change has given up on parents and expects teachers to fill the gap. Then they want to stuff your classroom with heaps of kids so you can't achieve half of it. Oh for parents who know how to parent!
