Didn't think everyone else would be interested, but I am located in the "outback" about 8 miles from Yelm. I have been following this site and its people for a couple of years, but didn't know how to quite fit in. Then when G-Mo couldn't find Sammi over Christmas, I decided to get involved, but so far I haven't had much to contribute.

Whoops, I forgot - almost everyone has GPS now days so they know where they are. We have managed to find our way around so far with maps and charts, although I am occasionally getting hints from the husband.

Jerry, thank you so much for celebrating my birthday with me last week, I had so much fun reading all the posts.
The family went out to dinner that night, then the next day we had yet another party for my youngest daughter's 16th. I then had the pleasure of a lunch on Sunday with some of our Sudoku family who spoiled me wonderfully.
It doesn't get much better than that!

Thanks for your Birthday wishes. Mom flew up here for the weekend and we celebrated with a huge 10½" Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. I have to admit it was one of my best and hope you enjoy a piece with me for breakfast/lunch.

It was 100° both days over the weekend - was suppose to go up to 106° today but is now slated for 95° today. Going to a BBQ tonight & sharing ice cold cherries.

Jerry I saw the handwriting on the wall before the Republicans left office. I sold all my ginning maes etc. before the Democrats took office. I put all that money in insured CDs. I' sitting pretty and those who trusted the Republicans are hurting.

It's late in the day, but I wanted to stop by your page on Veteran's Day to tell you thanks for your service. When I stopped by in October I didn't take the time to watch your video, but tonight I did. Perfect timing. It's a beautiful song & all the touching pictures made me pause to think of all our brave men & women out there far from home tonight.
Hope you are well & making good progress on all those projects you're always working on. Hugs to you & Maggie.

Jerry, just read your post about the injection for adhesive capsulitis. I can sympathize a lot with you. Earlier this year I had an injection of anti-inflammatory, saline and pain killer into my right shoulder as it was the worse of my two...bilateral frozen shoulder :(((. It hurt like the devil and I cried out like a baby!!! I was going to have the left one done too as I did notice a difference, but unfortunately circumstances got in the way. Luckily, time has passed and I have almost full movement back into both shoulders. As my physio said, it does heal itself eventually, it's just a matter of time.
Take care and do the exercises they tell you to do.

Jerry, The finger is still in a splint which is intended to stop movement of the damaged knuckle. Back to hospital on the 2nd so we'll see what happens then. It's amazing the lack of power in my left hand just because of that one finger.

Hope your shoulder comes good. Wife had one of those injections under MRI for a spur in the shoulder. It has cleared up but it took a bit of time.

Hello Jerry - was that Maggie waiting at the gate to greet you in the snow? Great photos, by the way.
There is another Denmark, just a small coastal town 30miles (50kms) west of Albany. It was a popular hippy place during the 70's & 80's and there are still quite a few living there, but it also has quite a large retiree population now. Even people from the city, Perth, move down there for a seachange.

Jerry, loved your snow pictures. Looks like you must have a BIG piece of property. I do love snow, but not cold! Hard to have one without the other - ha ha. Don't you just hate it how Flickr puts the pics in backwards order. I know you uploaded Driveway 1, then 2, etc., but they show up with #4 first. I sometimes try to upload backwards so they'll show up forwards, but that can get really confusing! Also, I could not post comments under each pic like you usually can on Flickr. What's with that? Hello Jerry - he took his time and stayed on in a few places. He loved Cairns and the rain forests of Queensland. He left home about the beginning of October, but had two return trips home, so just over two months. He now wants to do Route 66, I think it is, but can't find a mate to go to America with him.
