Thanks for the link, Rena...I just visted it...then I went to google maps and found where it is in BC. We were so close to you a couple of falls ago when we came down from Revelstoke through Castlegar...just didn't go further west.
We have also visited Kimberely several times and have some acquaintences there.

Hi Rena dont think that we have spoken befor but i see that you live in BC. I have a brother that lives in BC. He lives in Surry don't know how far that is from you but looking on the map it looks quite a distance. He's lived out there around 36 years i've not seen him since I was there 7 years ago

Hi Rena--great that you're going to New Zealand in December. You'll be able to be my official guide and give me the highlights--what to see, what to take a pass on. We're thinking of going next September/October, thinking the weather will still be pleasant but all the kids will be in school. We'll see. Anyway, I'm sure you must already be feeling a little excited and looking forward to your trip--good for you!

Rena, thank you for the birthday wishes! I love the quilt you finished - what a special gift for your daughter. Rena, hope you have a great time down here, probably wont be able to see you but its so nice to have our overseas friends come and visit I live in a small country town about 200kms from Melbourne with a population of about 200 as well it gets difficult to get to the city especially with the price of petrol these days, wishing you and your daughter a safe and healthy trip, cheers Sophia
