Rena, just read on health and fitness. I echo Mary's thoughts, all the very best in your efforts to be smoke-free. I can highly recommend it, it is one of the most liberating things you can do for your body.

OH RENA, the quilt is wonderful! Sunbonet Sue, one of my favorite patterns. What is the size of this quilt? I love all the different prints in Sue's dresses. A piece of history, all the prints from years ago. How old would you say the fabric in the dresses is? I wish I could see it up close and in person!

Did you make a label for the quilt? So family in years to come will know the history of this quilt?

I remember a Sunbonet Sue My Mom did, her Sue's were hand appliqued on with a button hole stitch in black thread, each stitch just the size and spacing of the other. When I remember the quilt, some of the stitching was comming undone.

Congratulations on finishing this one, and so happy that you found the website helpful. I do hope you find someone to do the quilting on your other quilts. Nothing wrong with sending a quilt out for quilting, I have done that for at least one of mine, and I have another that needs same.

Is this day 3 of no smoking? Good luck I know you can do it, and if you need a stop smoking supporter, send me a message, I am here for you! I quit about 7 years ago, the first 3 days were the worse, it got better from there. I have not even thought about a ciggy in years now, and the smell of them is YUCK.

Exciting news Rena, I hope you will have time to meet up with the Perth sudokuists. I have made the trip across Oz by train several times and thoroughly enjoyed it.
