Hey Canuk Greg, been thinking about you recently as I traipsed through the wilds of outback Canada under 6 feet of snow in the frontier days. I nearly caught pneumonia reading The Tenderness of Wolves.Brrr

Hi Greg! Thanks so much for the great comments on my flickr pics. It's good to be back.

PS--That canadian cold front that you blew down from up there is sitting right on top of us :) I'm happy it's only in the low 70's (but my neighbors are complaining!)

Hi Canuk Greg, it's been awhile since I've stopped by. Listened to your video and remembered sitting in my parents car with the radio on. Have you seen the Wierd Al video about Canadians? See you around.

Hello CGreg, I haven't heard 'Ma Belle Amie' for years. I loved that song. Thanks for the memories. I was looking at your picture gallery. I have some very similar pictures I took on our trip to Toronto 2 years ago. Glaciers, Niagara Falls and the other waterfall pic you have. It's Kakabeka Falls near Thunder Bay. I recognized it right away. I even remembered the name.

Hey Greg - thanks for the comments, and yes, it is puppy love, she can be such a terror, chews everything in sight, but then turns around and looks at you with those big brown eyes, and then it is ''awweeeee, isn't she cute?''

Hi Greg, Thanks for stopping by. I was actually working on my page while you were there. I was inspired by Mamacita's waterfall. I have one picture up. How do you add additional pictures? Or is that a supporting member thing?

Hi, popped in to give you some advice on toilet seats. I think you should forget all those fancy kinds and go with styrofoam insulation for the outhouse in your wilderness.
Just couldn't resist that. While I was here I also listened to your Youtube. Good song. You always have a good one.

Thank you CG, I'm sure I'll have a great day and even more since I'm keeping my grandchildren for a week. My husband has taken 2 weeks free, 1 to enjoy the children and the 2nd one for us to rest a little!!!
we spent 3 weeks in Quebec in 1989 with my Canadian cousins and I'm dreaming of going back there.

CG - I LOVE all of your youtubes.
Thanks for visiting Gus - we couldn't find a suit big enough, even one that would look like a speedo.
I have several 'sudoku e-mails' that I will send a longer note about all my family travails - it was a long June. I am floored and so grateful that people on this site actually care about each others' families!
When I write it, I will copy it to your page.

Hi,
Never heard of beavertail pastry before. What is it? Does the name refer to the shape or does it have a different meaning. I do love pastry a little to much.

Greg, Thank you for the information from yesterday regarding an Inukshuk, I might have seen them else where but these really made an inpression because there were so many and some were very large. I have posted this on page one for today but wanted to add something else. While we were at the bottom of the falls, where the Inukshuk were, there was one very naught child about 10-12 pushing them over. His parents did nothing to stop him. No respect from the parents nor the child.

Howdy, my fellow Canuk Friend! And thanks for dropping by to extend birthday greetings to me and my fella. Just went to a favourite patio spot nearby for some wine and appetizers. We've generally done a bigger splash for my b'day and this year I insisted that my hubby get spoiled instead. So we'll hit a rooftop patio tomorrow night;this celebrating all in one week is a bit of a pain, which is why we always recognize and celebrate the anniversary of our first date, which is in November.
Anyway, you're a gem of a guy--visit anytime! Cheers to you and yours

Thank you for dropping by Greg. Sharon posts lots of photos of Laura. Even pinches the ones from my camera at times.
I am still getting over the 22 hour flight (with 40 minutes at Singapore) after 5 weeks in UK and Scandinavia. Will put up a few photos when I get them sorted. I am a bit behind at the moment with what everyone has been upto lately!
You have some great photos in your gallery.

wanted to pop by and thank you for the information you posted in regards to Emily's school project. We were both amazed at how much there really is out there in this wonderful world of ours. This was one project we both enjoyed and had fun with. She has chosen to do Niagra Falls as part of her project and I was wondering if it was possible for us to use your photo from your gallery. If its OK, can you please forward us an image, asap. You should have my email addy. Thanks again Greg.

Hi Greg - How are you doing? Yes, we are very glad Tom is home safe and sound. Now we will be praying for our niece, who leaves for Iraq in a week. Will it never end. There is also a good friend of Adam's (another one who calls me mom) that is on our dive rescue team who is up in the cities helping recover victims of the bridge collaps. Take care my friend.

Thanks for the Clancy Brothers' version of Eric Bogle's song. It's the best version I've ever heard, and beautiful to watch it sung so well. And timely because the 4th Clancy brother--Tommy Makem--just passed on last week. I heard Eric Bogle (the Scottish folk singer who wrote this song and now lives in South Australia) sing this last fall in my hometown of Ithaca NY. I then was in Melbourne for ANZAC Day this April (fall it was again, Down Under). I stood with other Women in Black. I was holding a sign that said 'honer vets, not war.' The older veterans all looked me in the eye and nodded, some also smiling. A Vietnam vet kissed me on the cheek. Only men too young to have fought in a war jeered our peace banner. Thanks again for the link

Hey Greg, just wanted to pop by and say for the push...
I know I have been a bit lax with posting comments on late, but I tend to go into quiet mode every now and then.. however, I am now just back from my hols with my best mate from my school days, we had a caravan on the South Coast, and amazingly it shone nearly all week - in fact I am sunburnt from 1 day on the beach!! Not bad considering half the country had been flooded during the weeks before! So glad that I wasn't in any of the flooded areas, its been awful judging by the news.
I now need some time to recover from my holiday (but back to work tomorrow ) Shucks!!!! lol
